Turning my Legendary sword Triumphant made it invisible everywhere but the crafting menu, where I 'successfully upgraded' it to Common. Now it's visible again.
Turning off the particle effects is a nice option, but I wish it wasn't the only visual quality option I can really control. Turning off the background, spinning save icon, pointlessly-flashing achievements, pulsating extractors... Also, the Wikipedia link is WAY more cumbersome than just providing the formula. Interesting, decent game, but it has some issues.
Pick up the Transmute spell early, even if you can only use it once or twice per run, it's really great. It works on potions, pickaxes, and reagents as well as gear.
I'm 90% sure the only other cupcake baker the town has ever had just farted into the paper cups and served that, and that's why they're giving you such high grades.
The money counter rolling over to the next value and no longer showing the previous is kind of problematic. Also didn't realize that I couldn't upgrade speed UNTIL I'd maxed that level's strength (why? just.... why?).
Please make so if Critter's body disappears entirely above the screen, it gets the boosted down shot, instead of it disappearing ~1-2 body lengths above the screen.
I feel like this strikes a good balance between launch game styles/issues - a finite, reachable goal, varied power-ups, but it doesn't feel too short or complicated.
I tried to start a run and the cats wouldn't move no matter what, so I hit pause-menu and on the menu, the background began rapidly flipping through the maps, the cats all showed 98 upgrade points and 95 for each stat, the costume menu listed 2/3 with ! for all item types with nothing showing, the titles spun, and the cat sprites rapidly flipped through all the different cat types and the fox body with no costumes. Nothing was clickable. Not sure what caused this.
Seriously, some way to skip the animations (options menu?) would be great. I REALLY don't need to see these guys dropping their torches before every. Single. Fight.
