The lowest-level box borders changing color as you gain newer ones is, admittedly, a feature I've never seen before. Unfortunately, I think that may be because it's really confusing?
I feel weirdly guilty for cheering the zombies on to rip the medics apart.
Also, I appreciate that it's not really possible to *lose* this game? Which is standard for an idle game, but not a zombie game, so it decreased my stress significantly when I realized I really could just let it idle.
The end puzzle feels a little odd since so few of the previous ones rely on timing (unless I solved it wrong-right somehow, lol) but overall, neat game, love the way the gameplay and music work together!
I personally prefer the relative simplicity of the previous games. Some of these levels (looking at you, 22) are outright tedious, and the overlapping icons/indicators make it hard to tell what's even possible at times. Still pretty solid.
Neat concept that has a lot of possibilities, and yet I found myself constantly wondering when it would start being fun...idk, it just didn't grab me, sorry.
Same as GageOne, I haven't had any drops from Exploring since the last update, iirc? I thought it was cause I was in older dungeons but it seems to be any of them?
Definitely in need of UI upgrading: spells on adventuring pages, an easier-to-navigate inventory, etc. I also agree that this is, actually, the kind of idle game that would genuinely benefit from a reset ability.
I haven't really seen a game quite like this yet and I look forward to how it'll evolve!
Review got out of hand lmaooo (https://pastebin.com/RHXRTzZU): tl, dr: Good game, needs some tweaks in things like UI, balance, and especially how those popups are handled to make it great. I did totally sit down and play for 3 hours straight, the foundation is here. Hope to see more works like this tbh
I want to like this but I am constantly dealing with the issue of keys and such getting stuck - getting the standard fire stuck ON due to, I guess, holding it during dialogue is one thing.
Starting the boss stage and *not being able to move* is another.
Agree that something needs to be done abt the base ants and I'm not even that far in. Speed upgrade is good but needs something else (would help if they left the painting when done, since it takes them the longest to leave, too)
a good idea. i hope i remember it.
