I wonder where Papa's games get all their inconceivably high scores from. Paid voters? Dummy accounts? People who don't play many games and thus don't have the experience to judge how terrible these are? Small children who are plopped in front of an inoffensive-looking, brightly colored game?
All that said, it's a solid concept and I really like the art style. Some speeding up on the early game and maybe a bigger visual indicator for unminable deposits would be nice.
I feel like the early pacing between "make enough to buy upgrades" and "your cargo is full" isn't effective - it feels like I have to watch it like a hawk to sell before I'm full, but nothing happens in the interim.
I haven't been able to log in for like a month, came back today and it worked, but the progress was like 4 hours worth instead of the literal weeks I've been gone. Also why have crafts suddenly jumped to 5+ digits on some kitties?? Who thought that was a good idea???
I think the lengthy transitions (tap puzzle angle, move up screen, solve puzzle, click specific button (rather than anywhere on the screen), summon god-hand, zap down, move down, etc.) hurt more than they help. Although at least you can click a new puzzle before the last animation finishes - but it's also the only unique animation of those listed.
Is there a point to Drone Twins when I'm buying Neuroprophets and the like? I can buy 300+ Quintillion Drones... to add to my base of 93.2 DDc. Maybe make it passively boost growth from spawning tier (Queens for Drones, etc.) after so many tiers onwards have been unlocked?
Also WHY would anyone do an escape room with one other person who is A) blatantly disinterested and B) a total downer in that context. Bring someone who actually wants to play or do it yourself dude.
The art's good and all, but I feel like the buildup-to-payoff ratio is WAY off, and with a setting like "Dracula's Castle", you could have done some way more fun puzzles than this.
I have a bad habit of giving a loooot of games 3 stars, mainly because I'm very indecisive. The Unpuzzle games have gotten 5 stars easily from me. I will say in some ways this one is a bit better, because there are a few points where you can choose from a number of options, while the second game feels more linear. But it also has a lot going on. Either way, they're both fantastic. I love the way the game steadily teaches you how to play it and ramps up accordingly.
Is there any way to move around the space area? I keep trying to drag it and then remembering I have to use the list (which I didn't notice at first either lol). It'd be convenient if there were ways to zoom out and move without relying on the list. I do like that the planets turn gold when fully upgraded, it's a good visual shorthand.
Good game, but the drag on the side of the screen screws me up more than the bullets lol. Also, turning shake off doesn't seem to actually do anything.
Decent game, interesting concept, but I do have to agree with several of the critiques in comments. Also:
A) busted out my autoclicker purely to get to 100 Speed after rollover
B) by all appearances this idle game does not actually gain points while offline or even in a different tab.
