Ugh! I have to get a badge from this game for a medal, and I’m really wishing the Kong wouldn't require participation in ideologically-biased games to earn medals. Frankly, I find this game sinister; it's basically a training video for future wage slaves.
I'm unable to upgrade my racer, and there is no one to race with for long periods of time. I really can't give this more than one star, especially since it's a vital part of a Kong medal.
Just a note on audience and not intended as a criticism: This is a good game for beginners, but it's likely to be confusing to intermediate debaters and philosophers and vexing to advanced ones.
If this game isn't registering what you've collected for badges, try playing it with a different browser. I switched from Safari to Firefox and was finally able to collect the easy badge.
I couldn't play in cinematic mode due to major lag. No spirals or spiders ever registered, even though I went through at least a dozen doors. Can't get the badge - which ruins my getting the beginner’s medal. Rated one for major technical difficulties in a game that was released half-a-decade ago. It could be a decent game if it were playable.
If you’re just here for the badge…
To “juggle” an enemy, hit it repeatedly until it flies up into the air. Then continue to hit it before it can reach the ground. After you hit it four or five times, it should rocket up into the air and disappear; that’s how you know you’ve successfully juggled it. Of course, to juggle successfully, you need to find a fairly open area (give yourself space because you may need to run forward to complete a series of hits) and may need to jump in behind an enemy in order to knock it in the proper direction. Fists seem to work better for this than most weapons. Juggle five enemies to get the badge - but you may also need to visit a checkpoint or finish a level afterward (or my internet may just be lagging).
Hope this helps.
I recently finished the main campaign with all the badges. A couple of other things I noticed while playing: - I started three different games - one in easy and two in hard mode. I started them all with all available relics. I didn’t have to earn these, although I occasionally got indications that I had “received” relics, and I’m assuming they’re what the masks are for. - Sometimes (I think this only happened after I’d earned all available perks), my level was listed as only the tens digit of my actual level (so, for instance, at level 67, my level gauge read, “6”). - Only the first three digits of my hit points were listed after I reached 1,000. - The dialogue was engaging and well-written from a storytelling perspective. However, cleaning up some of the grammar and style would make reading smoother and, I feel, make it easier to engage the interesting story. I’m on the same machine and using the same software as indicated in the comment I posted on 7 October of this year. Great game!
When I upgraded my M1 Garand to level 8, it listed the benefit as Relative Damage: 0% > 0%. I believe it did the same at level 7. I wasn't sure if it was a glitch or a joke, but I thought I'd mention it in case it's the former. I'm on a mid 2011-model iMac running Safari 9.0 on OS Yosemite 10.10.5, if that helps. Great game, by the way. I wasn't sure at first, but I’m liking it more and more as I play and have rated it up to a five-star favorite. Keep up the good work.
