Apparently the inability to log in for random periods is a known bug for this game and has been for years. A bug that vanishes as mysteriously as it appears, by all reports. Ah well, guess I'll be back when I'm back. Sorry to all neglected friends. Not my doing.
Game is very well worked out for the most part, but does have a couple of significant flaws, IMO. Firstly, joining a guild is a far more convoluted process than it needs to be. It should be 'apply to guild, get accepted or rejected,' as with most other games. It would also be really useful if there was some kind of in-game tooltip to remind players what all those spells do. My troop movement quibble has its own post, so I won't repeat that, here. Overall, a good game and well worth playing, though definitely looks to be a long term commitment. Kong need to fix the badges, too, but that's on them, not the game.
There needs to be a way to move troops between your own villages so that they do not count as guests. This is especially true of Governors, who are needed to capture new villages. The ability to move your Governors to villages closer to the enemy to decrease attack times is clearly important, yet guest troops cannot be used in attack, even if they are your own. Given the very long travel times, this is clearly far from ideal.
From the maker of One Among Zombies, and likely to suffer from the same strengths and weaknesses, IMO. The kill-craft-advance mechanic is the same and that will mean your advance will slow over time, but it's a good mechanic and works well. What does not work is the hourglass system for repeating missions, as running out of hourglasses means having to manually repeat missions. As your crafting requirements rise, this will become far more of a chore than many players will care for. It's a shame, as the games are otherwise well crafted and likely to hold your interests for some time.
I wish to protest the rising cost of new party members in the shop. At the moment, the price of each new recruit is rising faster than I can find emeralds, which seems to me to be rather unfair. At this rate, I will never be able to get even the lowest priced new recruit.
Indeed, there is a feature of the game that the further the player progresses in the game, the higher the price in the regular store becomes. However, note that along with the price, the stats of these characters increase, becoming more suitable for the stage of game progression in which you decide to buy. Nevertheless, the logic of pricing suggests that at some point the price comes to a halt and stops growing.
By the way, please pay attention to the Clan Hero Shop, where you can buy heroes for a fixed price that does not change over time.
AGAIN with the server disconnect during the stay online' challenge? Come on guys, you're better than this! At least give us all some anniversary coins to compensate!
Have finished 'The Wizard's Exam' and rather liked it. It's very obviously translated into English and can be a bit awkward at points, but a pretty good story.
I have discovered what I consider to be an issue, though I'm not sure how deliberate it is: the cost in hearts to take some story options vastly exceeds the number of hearts you can make through gameplay. I can see a future point where I may be forced to stop playing not because the game lacks interest, but because I have no hearts left. If completing each chapter gains me one heart (No story completion bonus, either) but a single important decision can cost me 20-something hearts, that's not sustainable.
Thanks for your interest towards our game! We strive to improve our game daily and localization for those stories which are not native is in a pipeline as well. Concerning hearts, Elliot, devs need to eat - it is intended hearts and tickets will be purchased occasionally.
Game hangs for me half way through loading the first date/story, so I can't comment on the actual gameplay. Will say that the game is absolutely tiny on my screen and desperately needs a fullscreen button.
Thanks for your feedback. Could you please confirm, you've met an issue with the Story as well? We have determined an issues with some of the Dates - which are temporarily removed. Apologies for inconvenience - we just sent you a bonus pack to cover our transgression. Hope to see you back!
A good time killer that is likely to be entertaining in fairly short bursts. Fullscreen button does not work, but I had no other issues with it. Could do with the reminder that you can upgrade items not popping up at every loss, though. Gets old, fast.
Dear player, sincerely appreciate your feedback. Indeed, the button does appear on some kinds of screens, it is a legacy of full screen mode. We understand some inconvenience, and will try to solve it. Also thank you for your opinion on the frequency of the upgrade reminder popping up. We hope to see feedback from players as often as possible, it really helps the game to be the best version of itself.
Thanks :-)
