I ended reaching North Pole in March... First time i really care about the backstory of a toss game, and it sucked... it's kinda racist, and surprising than a Tuareg knows english and not a french dude... I actually ended to see if the end was funny or something, and any of the stories has anything to do... Besides that, the backward crash, the monotonous stages, and the bland curve of grow of the airplane, was decently developed.
Too much of Fallout... I know you actually said that you used the SPECIAL character system... but even the same HUD and everything... a little too much.
Actually, I didn't liked the turn-based system of those games... prefered the one of FallOut Tactics.
They charge you even to create some characters... it's understandable in many cases, but they are the only ones with interesting character design XD.
Couldn't play it, the fact that the only classes that sounded appealing are paid, kill the mood.
This games are like wine, with every attempt and after some frustrating maps, I start liking them more and more... And for the fact of not been a sissy, I have keep trying the maps until I start working through it (just like Resonance of Fate, but without the... it's just hard, ok?).
Either way, after starting to survive the maps I realize that not only you have to harvest resources, but that you must do it one at a time... and thats kinda really sucks XD... ok, it's more difficult, but doesn't make too much sense, besides, after depleting the adjacent resources, the best harvesters (at least at this point of my game) become useless (I mean the soldiers with axes). Though, good game.
I tried at least 4 times, but the equipment of the enemies at stages beyond 4th it's just to much, and investing in the insurance it a little to much... It's like playing the games of Newgrounds of the early years of the 2000 (lame graphics and hard gameplay to compensate the poor background)
I didn't like it. I believe mistakes cunning with nonsense, because the idea of not following directions or "thinking out of the box" it is highly limited. And much more than a test of wits, it's about testing patience... at least that is my opinion.

Would be nice to see the bonus stats added to the units (the kill count or hero bonus, for example) in every unit... i fell like i'm been cheated in the power cause i cant see those bonuses.
Great game either way, i think it keep the nice things of the previous ones, but add a little twist with the units depending in the heroes and the equipment part.
i didn't like your game, it's a concept a little common and the apples look like these crappy emoticons that they try to give you in this annoying side bars. Must admit than the change look thing was neat... 2/5
