I have to say that this is a good, but flawed game.
1. Reactor is useless once you get miners. For the same cost you get 5 x miner factories (bay + miner) which pay for themselves very very quickly. Also they smash enemies, instead of just being a fragile target.
2. Physics lab is very overpowered. I was just mowing through last missions with mminer armada. 4 x miner bays, 6 x lab = endless stream of miners which pierce everyone into raw materials. It is fun to watch, but boooring.
1. The whole game can be passed with two units.
Scout. Border Rider. You don't need any more units, really.
2. There is an upgrade that says `spear cavalry units get +...`. I waited all game long for the third cavalry unit. Or for a heavy cavalry unit. Hammer cavalry unit, anyone? Nope. No luck for me... =\
1. You are not a god in any way - you are a dump terraforming machine. 95% of things you should do is just to make all flat. This is more than enough for most missions. Another 5% - remove enemy swamps, drown their heroes. The sheer amount of micromanagement with this makes it is not so fun as it could be.
2. Mana issues. You don't have enough mana to feel yourself a GOD. Hurricanes, heroes, storms? Nope. More terramorfing. You have mana? Ah, the mission ends..
3. Troubles with lack of help. Water pool can suddenly disappear. In which aspects earth hero is better than storm one? What is the point of forests?
4. Useless spells. Say flame mountain. Why should I do it, if I need to make it flat again? Usually it is much better to storm the front. While your warriors do their job you terramorph as a damned slave.
5. Slow scroll, no fast forward button. It was mentioned before - they are vert worth adding.
3.5/5. 4/5 for the spirit of the very first Populous.

Dear author. This is a pretty game, but are you mad?
Whale hole = 1000$ 1 whale ~ 70$ and 10 minute growth.
That means I must grow 13 whales (2 hour monitoring) just to get my money back? Wtf, seriously.
Same goes with the bank. I get around 100 interest from 5K (2%? probably) for approx 10 minutes. And I should click. And I should not accidentally click "deposit".
Pingu, you are good. But money-making is dull, boring as hell and is not idle at all, so bye-bye.
All I can say.. this is amazing.
And the endings.. well - that is the only game for last year that made me nearly cry. You are an amazing writer. I will be waiting for sequel..
Still some flaws in game design. 7th weapon is the only you need and most powerful. :)
1KKK - easy as a pancake. All you need is to max armor/regen and add a bunch of simple turrets (10 energy, 240 dm, 9 rate). Just circle around a bit.
Still - a good game.
The cake is a LIE!
I've unlocked all 314 characters. I've rumbled and rushed through levels dozens of times, grinding frags, skulls, mummy wrappings and some cytrus.
And no reward in the end. All I saw was a usual message "blah-blah, you won, still need to unlock characters, get your unlock with 'c'".
Hey, I mean, WTF? I expected this final, but still, maybe a small cutscene, or a couple of phrases can be inserted into game?
