For those who don't get why the stock market goes down, in reality, if the stock goes up, stockholders who had shares of a publicly available company would sell and depending on where you are in the game, they could have a chance to make nearly 17 quadrillion times what they already invested, so everyone will sell, then the goes low, and people buy, then more people buy, and the stock skyrockets, before going back down. That was the longest run-on sentence of my life. Oh, and GazThomas, in reality, you can buy more stock without selling, rather then being forced to sell and then buy once more. So, there is stocks explained from a stock options daytrader whose wife is a broker. Enjoy.
