Enjoyed the game. Spelling/grammatical issues causing it to not get 5/5 rating. Do suggest treading carefully when you design any more puzzles similar to the newspaper one. As mentioned before, it's not always easy for some people to access the clues due to location and/or changes the owners of the content cause.

Bug: Scroll-wheel still changes ammo while in pause or upgrade screens.
Developer Reply
Fixed it, thanks!
Clip-Fed through Belt-Fed achievements need to either mention that they're per round/level or be changed to track across levels. The fact that achievements are how one obtains permanent upgrades also should be more prominent in-game. Would also suggest not using, "Die x amount of times" ones for such an upgrade system.
I added a column that tells you whether the achievement is per-game, or total. The "Die x amount of times" achievement is now drastically reduced. Removing it would create problems with people that already have a save (deleting progress would be necessary). I'll try to work on a way to hide it all together. Thanks a lot for the feedback, really appreciate it!

Really should be able to set skill priorities. Kinda annoying to see my character slow then immediately 1-hit KO with a cleave. Mouse-over text for things wouldn't be a bad idea either. Sent the shopkeeper to school and haven't a damned clue what his new potions do and don't feel terribly intrigued to spend 500g to find out.

Good god there's some piss-poor design decisions on this game. Not only does one have to pick up the ability to respec, but it's actually possible to lock yourself out of having the option. That should be an inherent ability and perhaps make it only refund 50% and have the skill/talent up the refund to 100%. Also don't understand why the mouse wasn't incorporated for aiming. Holding one key to press up all the time isn't intriguing gaming. Finally, and while not a game design issue itself, I'd recommend doing something about the splash screens. It's rather annoying to see two company splash screens followed by a, "Company A presents a Company B game," screen.

Keyboard controls seriously needs responsiveness looked at. At the moment, if you hold left/right and then jump, you QUIT moving left or right until you release the key and press it down again. Same with double jumping.

Just noticed the reply. Bug still exists, unsure if I was playing before or after the update yesterday. IIRC, first noticed it at level 7, loaded my save at level 16 today and it still occurred. Forced refreshed the page, tried a new game, still happened up at level 1. To reproduce, get some skill points, take note of the wealth cost and skill description for base level. Add some points into the skill, reset skill points and while the level will show as level 1, the wealth cost and skill description show the level you had upgraded it to previously. This reverts itself once you put a point back into the skill and has no other effect with the exception of Recruiting Parties which you can eventually get to show as maxed out and no longer allow you to put skill points in it regardless of how many times you attempt to reset the skill points.
Ahh, excellent description thank you. I can recreate and fix pretty easily I think, just been looking at the lvl when checking, should be fixed for relaunch tommorow *edit* found and fixed for tomorrows relaunch thank you

Two bugs, both in regards to using skill points: (1.) Skills do not show level 1 stats when you reset your stat points (2.)Recruitment Parties does not reset at ALL during stat point allocation, eventually causing you to show that it's maxed out and can no longer attempt to put points into it.
Hi, having trouble recreating this problem, could you message me with more details, like your lvl at the time and if you where playing this game before I updated it yesterday? *edit* also thanks for letting me know

And mana's dropping instead of growing again. Just jumped to 12,643,028,140,350 runes and I'm losing about two hundred million to a billion per tick.
Additionally, mana gathering seems to drop rather quickly. Right now I have 130,821,109,100 runes. Tower says that my average mana gain should be about half that. What seems to be my real average mana gain is actually somewhere between 2 million and 1 billion...
Bug: Haven't a clue how this may have happened but ended up with mana in the negatives for a bit. Fixed itself eventually when I started adding more runes. Was around the hundred million rune mark.

Good game, would have rated it higher than three stars but I frown upon, "Go to my site!" methods of gating content.
Not bat, admittedly not great either. It wasn't until the last two levels that I got a touch irritated due to the addition of trial and restart if you error puzzles. It's one thing for a puzzle to become unsolvable if you didn't heed clues or mechanics built upon prior levels, it's another thing altogether to require your players to redo a level several times just to figure out the correct sequence. That said, for level 19, use the 1st stick on the right gear, grab the 2nd stick and water can, use water can to grab triangle, use 2nd stick on left gear and triangle on stone to exit. Level 20: 1st stick on first gear, 2nd stick on second rock, water can on plant by third rock, 3rd stick on gear below it.

At area 5 as I play this and a few things to note. 1. Level bonuses that require items should cover the cost of the item AND give a decent bonus. Area 4's bonuses are subpar due to this, levels 1 and 2 only give approximately 40g after taking the grenade cost into account and level 3's bonus actually costs money. #2: If your game requires using the keyboard, take the time to code in remapping.

@Neverblade: When apologizing, one needs to make sure that the act the apology is for, is actually there. Your post, is actually misinformed(testing on game sites? Game was added here on the 10th, over a week after being available on the app store(shows released on the 1st). Not only that, but while complaining about the game being unoriginal, you fail to point out at any specific games you believe this one rips off. Now on to criticism of the game: While the mechanics, levels, and audio were well done, the lack of a full version here does make it more obvious that this exists primarily to be an advertising tool for the iOS version that has purchasable level packs.

Some suggestions: Control config needs some work, while I love the fact that you guys actually added such an option, having to rebind everything to random keys so I can then rebind how I want is a touch annoying. Additionally, input seems to stick a little, missed several locations due to being stuck turning left/right. Clicking out/back in fixes it when it happens. Last thing is that I do wish breaking was a touch stronger.

Contrary to what some have said, I found spearmen to be the most overpowered, if one levels push if available, attack if not, their special goes from becoming good to absurd. Overall, found the game intriguing but quickly wished that there was more depth to it aside from, "Kekekekekeke ZERG RUSH!"

So I'm a robot looking for resources and I don't want to open a desk drawer but am more than willing to look underneath a the desk and pick up a piece of a mirror?

Immediately gave the game 5-stars for actually bothering to allow for keybinding.

+5 for a decent game and thoroughly amusing writing.
