DoT feels like really the only viable path. Ignore shields, armor, 100% hit chance. Your damage per second grows while every other build is pretty much linear. It's effective against all types of monster whereas the other types have strengths and weaknesses like dealing 2x damage to shields, ignoring armor, reducing regen(this one in particular is bs since DoT is straight up a better counter to regen than it while also having useful effects on a monster without regen too). Not to mention, It has a 10% damage boost to its spell type just like all the others but also has a cast time reduction so its effectively increasing dps by more than 10% per point
It might be possible to do other builds, I honestly haven't tried though because cunning just seems like the simplest way. Dev was full on smoking when they made this spell type lol. Not that I'm complaining tho, i'm on NG5 and expecting to get to 50 soon.
Im really not sure how you are supposed to utilize the forceful fission bonus. The only way I know how to do it is 'charge' my reactor with heat up to maybe 80% capacity (depending on how confident I am I wont explode), and then do a balancing act of heat outlets of various levels so that there is a very slow drop of heat over time. But this doesn't feel like the way you are supposed to do it since it's so awkward and is not permanent. I also don't really use heat exchangers or coolant cells at all cause i'm not sure if theres any benefit to them. (I feel like any space not used for vents, fuel cells, or capacitors are wasted)
Max level of Bally insta respawn should be a bit higher, 100% might be too much but 90% or 95 would be cool :P it would make it a bit more useful imo, right now its completely useless vs Rockster
The "out of memory" notification normally occurs when you minimize or unfocus the window. if you want to play while doing something else on your computer then you need to make a separate window that has Reactor Incremental open, and the window you're using cant be fullscreen either. Its a pretty annoying issue but not too hard to get around.
rabbworf, you also need to make sure you have enough money to buy the cell (not that you should have an issue with that on uranium, but still something to take note of)
