Ok. I wasn't too impressed with this until I realized that I had begun deliberately avoiding other squares because I knew it was futile and didn't want to ruin their pretty patterns. I think the metaphor therein nets this game at least a little respect.
pretty good, And while there wasn't really any differences between your 'glitches' and any other game's level by level mechanics, the aesthetic managed to pull it together. good music too.
This was pretty standard fair in the metroidvania department, but impressive for 72 hours. Lovely tiles, and I find it hilarious that there's deadly milk everywhere. good job!
very similar to cut the rope, and a million other games I'm sure. Doesn't bring anything new to the table, and the art and sound are pretty generic. Solid work but all together forgettable.
Expected mind blow: None of his adventure actually happened, just a death bed dream.
Ultra twist: The pictures he was collecting were not of his life. He simply found random photos across the world and strung together a fictional life story from them in his senility.
These kinds of games are nice sometimes. but this is pretty much the same as any other click the button game. Try to do something new, in any updates, and make this a bit more interesting.
Awesome. This is the second good game I've seen from that game jam. This game really makes ten seconds simultaniously feel like a really long time and a really short time.
wow. A really fun game, that fit well with my memories of the book. A more full fledged tale in flatland would be great, with the elaborate society detailed in the book and the fun mechanics you've put in the game
