Side note: I Saw your response to Herugorth, saying you might make it into a steam game. Although, I know that would probably take way longer, I think your ideas could go a long way, and if you need someone to test the game before launching it or anything like that, I'M YOUR GIRL!!! I'd love to see what could come from that. I have a steam account and everything already, I would play in a heartbeat.
I would absolutely LOVE to see more of this game. My mouth literally dropped when I saw the "this is the end of the game" message. For a game done by one person, I have a few comments.
1) Art is very original, love the twist on certain individual characters
2) I love the ability to run around and do so many side quests, and I'm sure it's that level of detail that made the process so long and grueling
3) THE DETAIL!!! There was so much, even just little hidden things in the game that you wouldn't know to look for.
It's so simple, but you put so much detail and love into the game that I can tell it really means something to you. This game is the beautiful love child of your hard work, time, and ideas. I recommended my friend playing the game as well! I was so shocked to see it end, it broke my heart. I really loved your game, thank you for the time you put in to this, and making it a good playing experience for all .
Wow thank you very much for that comment! It does mean a lot to me, this game has basically been therapy to me during hard times.
I'm really glad you liked it and it's awesome that you recommended it to a friend.
okay so when I played it's like she showed up once after i ran away from her as soon as you get out of the cellar, but she suddenly just DISAPPEARED. I can't find her! I even got up the balls to go roam the cellar again, but i didnt find her then either, and a good portion of the doors are still locked!
having secrets/achievements gives a person an opportunity to interact along with feel the map. But like another person has said you should add some entry ways to some of the code blocks that appear to be like windows. this way it makes the player think "what are these here for? whyre they here?" this will increase their curiosity, AND it will overall increase their feelings. It just gives a more clueless feeling, of this dark place with strange buildings, one light, a man, a monster, and stairs that lead to no where. maybe you could add stairs in DIFFERENT places, and once they reach the top they can enter one of the code blocks, and that could be another "secret" ? all in all,it took me quite a while to figure out what you meant by feel. and all i could think was " i feel frustrated, and depressed because there's nothing to DO.i can't see very well, and it's confusing and there's no way OUT!" and i may be wrong, but i think that's what i was supposed to feel.
Ask yourself the question: "What would I do if this world was real, I was put into it and was not allowed to leave." Which part of the game is most comforting to you? Where would you stay till you die?
when you loose the game from seeing the funny slender, it's not much of a good option to just freeze the screen cause then ive gotta refresh the page to play again. maybe there should be a starting screen it could return to?
Thank you for the continued support! :)
