So that is what my problem is. I can deal with the fact the developer wants to make money and that the turns are not free. But I do not like when a developer tries to manipulate fans of his games into thinking one way when the fact is really something different. And for those that do like the turned based system, you probally dont know there will come a time when you reach a chest, find a really powerful weapon, and must purchase it to obtain it. Which is just another point showing you how wrong the developers statement is. Fact is that the players with these superior weapons will sit on top of the leaderboards while the ones without the cash will sit at the bottom.
But then he decides to allows people to buy however many turns they want and to allow those same people to do the things that the developer stated would not happen and that is how he inteded it to be. I'm sure I could have worded it much better but can you not see the Hypcrocity and deciet in that? That is where my problem is.If the developer really cared about giving everyone a fair shot which he stated was his sole intention in why he made the game the way he did, then he would either A. Not allow people to buy turns so they can rush up the leaderboards while the rest of us who cant afford it sit at the bottom.
B. He could make all of the turns free so everyone has an equal shot at reaching the top of the leaderboards.
axelot my friend you are missing the point. Had you read through what I wrote I clearly stated that my beef wasn't with them trying to make money but rather the decietful ways they are marketing it to others out there. If you would have completely read my post then you would have known that. Because I don't have a problem with a developer laboring hours and hours on a game and they might want some money to compensate for it. But they are trying to decieve everyone by stating that the developer put the game this way in turn format because he wanted it to be a more casual experience. He then goes on to say that if he had given everyone free turns then whoever played the most all nighters would be at the top of the leader board.......... continued in next comment
Does everyone get as much enjoyment as I do staring at my screen for 2 hours and then when I finally see that 1 turn has been added I go into shock and start seizing all over the place. Or is it just me?
Also I'd like to add after going to there website that not only can you buy more turns if you have the cash but items also. And whats makes these items even more specialer is that these items you can buy will be encountered somewhere in the game. So pretty much you find a chest it has a special powerful upper tier Item in it. Time to get excited right. Maybe not because you didn't realize it has a $5.99 cent price tag on it. Guess you better just put your greatest find back in the treasure box. Wow whoever is the lucky one to find that will be excited when they realized they found a treasure chest that they have to add loot to.
Lynixe you are absolutely wrong my friend. You are making the turn system to be better than what it is. For a casual gamer who may spend an hour playing or less a day, its still complete ungracious in the turn giving department. You get 12 turns a day which I would think could give you a max of 30 minutes of playing time but probally something closer to 10 or 15. I have absolutely no reason to come here, but the developer deserves an ear spanking so he getting it from me.
Obelisk you are absolutely correct and I share your feeling for the develpers. I'd kick them in there nads if I could. As Obelisk said before and the developer on his website, Here is a quote from there website. It says the reason that they limit the turns is because they wanted it to be a casual experience for players, and had there been unlimited turns, then whoever played the most in the begining would be at the top of the leaderboards. So according to them they wanted it to be fair for everyone. But then they turn around and are offering deals to buy more turns for anyone who has a little cash to dish out. Any non idiot can read between the lines of those last two sentences and realize that the real reason the turns are so limited is because the developer figures he will make more money doing it his way then a user friendly way. But that still doesn't give him the right to be a giant hypocrite and mislead people just so they dont think hes the greedy SOB he is.
nevermind I largely miscaculated I would have had 3600 turns so I would have had to wait many months. Either way I'll just wait for the next RPG style quest and play that one. Again hopefully this one fails miserably. Thank goodness we have developers who do make great games with awesome depth out there, such as the guys who made gemcraft. So let me give a shoutout from everyone to the guys who made gemcraft. You guys rule! and well this piss poor game sucks the ol-mighty onion nuts.
Well I came back just to see how many turns you get per hour. And its been about 12 hours since I played and I now have 5 turns. So my guess is you may get 1 turn every 2 hours. Which should give me about 5 minutes of playing time. So I think what I;ll do is let my turns save up over the course of maybe a year. At that point I should have around 600 turns to play with which could give me a whole day of playing. But considering how deep I hear the game is that probally wont even be enough to finish the game. So nevermind I talked myself out of it. I wont waste another second on this game and just so I can take a gut shot at the developer. In the year that most of us would have to save up to have any hope of spending valuable time on this game, there will probally be lots of similiar games that are superior and more importantly user friendly. So the developer can suck a big one. I wish nothing but the worst for your hopes of becoming a millionaire on this slightly above average game.
well i have to agree with the rest of the people. awesome game but I wish I would have known exactly what everyone meant when they said there was a turn limit and I wouldn't have even wasted my time. So I will explain for those that read the comments before they play. Basically you get to play the game which is cool but you only have like 20 turns and then it stops you from playing anymore and says you have reached your turn limit, come back later when you have more turns. It also states turns build up over time, does anyone know how long it takes to build up. My guess is something like 1 turn an hour but if anyone knows the exact amount it would be really helpful. So I agree with everyone easy 5/5 but it gets a 1/5 for basically being unplayable and has seen the last of me.
Inferno and SKlaire15 I figured out the problem or at least fixed it. I went to View in my browser and then zoom and then checked zoom text only and it fixed it. I appreciate the response
No, but I just tried and it didn't fix the problem. Its the actual game and not the browser itself. I thought that it would work but unfortunately it didn't .
For some reason it zooms in to the point I can only see some of the screen. Does anyone know how to fix this and so I can play and also is it doing it to anyone else? I would really appreciate it!
Its funny I see everyone saying how hard it is and I kid you not I beat it on my first try. Only got hit maybe 20 times total and mostly because I didn't even know I could get hit by that certain enemy such as the mines on the last guy and the little flying bats. I guess some games are tough for some people and easy for others. I can get the amorphous hard badge for anything. Now that I said all that, I would like to ask does the game move slow, because if not that might just be why I beat it.
made it to level 41. Would have made it further, I had one tile left and a bunch of bonus deals and some other bonuses including a switch. Well all I had to do was switch a tile already placed and then move it to the open spot and then place a new one in the other empty slot. Anyways I used the bonus and it wouldn't let me switch the tile already placed because it said there was a limiter. So I was forced to waste it and then use the bonus deals which didn't give me the tile I needed. I lost, end of rant. Anyways the whole using bonuses on the limiters needs to be fixed especially if there is a solution that will work by doing so.
The best advice I can give is to really pay attention to your bonuses. For example if you have a change red bonuses and there is a red and a green slice to fill then try to fill the green slice first, and worry about the red later. If you get lucky and get a red later then you beat the level. If not just use your bonus. Same thing goes if you have any other combination such as the stellas and lunas. Say you have change luna bonus and no stella then try and fill the stella first. Also try and save as many bonus deals as you can. If you can use a change card or swap or joker without using the bonus deals then do that. Good luck and keep trying and you will get the hang of it like me. I was just like most of you guys moaning about the no save feature and the luck factor.
well guys i was reading through the comments and im going to have to disagree with the majority of people saying its luck. You just got to think three or four steps ahead, and think about what bonuses you have before you place a slice. The reason I say this is because after about 6 or 7 tries I finally beat it and that was without getting a bunch of bonuses in the beginning. I was about to give up thinking it wouldn't matter with as few bonuses as I had but I continued and wound of beating it. Now I'm currently still playing on level 36 with 15 bonuses left.
