not worth rating. throw it in the trash bin with the other ad-infested games that bring no value to the game industry whatsoever. To bad i gave this game a few pennies just for playing.
game is extremely too slow for my liking. Had all weapons and upgrades been open from the begining, I may have played but waiting to unlock each new upgrade by grinding through the tedious stages is not worth it. 2/5, has a nice framework in place, just need to add some fun to it.
It would have been a nice change of pace game had dodging arrows been a possibility but as is the coinshield mechanic doesn't work. The second the arrow enters the screen and is headed for me I press the button but it is always too late. I can however block the arrows if I randomly press the D button but 90% of the time that is a waste of valuable coins. 3/5 could have been much better. I like the idea just needs to be implemented right and expanded on. Keep trying, it's always good to try something new.
Played for a little while. Something tells me this will be just another one of those games that steals as much money from their players as possible before disappearing into oblivion and creating a new game. 1/5 when it comes out from me.

wanted to like this but the controls are just to stiff. And I don't like the way the mouse was used to control the character although I can see this working if it was implemented properly. Also the screen moved in weird ways that made me lose my eye coordination a lot. Has potential is the best comment I can give. 2/5
Thank you for your comment. When I designed the controlls, I felt it was more realistic if the character needed a little time to accellerate rather than hitting max speed instantaniously. Upgrades will improve this though. If you don't like the mouse controll, you can also use the keyboard instead. Mouse controll was pretty much only implemented to make the game playable with mouse only.
very interesting. I really liked it. Definately felt like playing a game from the atari and arcade era for the first time. 4/5. I would love to see an expansion on this idea.
Highly underrated. rated it a 5/5 and I don't even like platformers all that much. Love the upgrade system and the length. Also love the art and music and the overall style of the game. With that said some of the complaints I just got done reading hit the problems dead on. The player needs to know what is an endless pit and what isn't, because this game encourages exploration and I found myself dying too many times after defeating all enemies just because I wanted to backtrack to see if I missed any skill points. Also a minimap or map of some sort would drastically improve this game in my opinion. Last but not least the FOV is slightly too tight as minkiz said, but this I can deal with. Looking forward to your next game keep up the good work.
Another interesting add-on that I think would have added a lot of replay value is if you would have taken a hint from Flight and included a Days Counter to see how quickly you could complete the game. Each episode completion could have counted as 1 day and each of the 15 extra stages could have counted as 1, then each death as 1. This alone would have pushed me to try and reduce the amount of deaths obtained at least once. Last but not least and this is just a suggestion that I think would be cool is if you added an extra that was strictly a boss mode for those of us who complete the game. Just trying to kill each boss individually in one run without dying. You could even add hidden bosses that weren't included in the regular game in this mode. I'm not trying to pick on this game cause I had a hell of a good time playing it. And I really hope you make a part 2 and not a simple map pack. I will definitely be looking forward to your next game.
5/5 Quite simply one of the funnest flash games I have played. Everything was perfect from the bosses to the balance to the extras to upgrades. But with that said there are 2 things that I think could have pushed this game into epic territory with the likes of similar upgrade games that perfect the balance and depth of their genre such as Paladin Dog, GemCraft Series, and barely Jacksmith. First and this for me would have brought it on the level of Paladin Dog and GemCraft series, is simply if it were longer. It needed more bosses as for me the boss battles were highlights for me. I finished the game in around 4 hours, and this game left me wanting more. Survival Mode almost always feels like a tack on that doesn't add to much to any game. I think had everything been doubled it would have been the perfect length.
It was fun. Would like to see it expanded on, and a part 2 made. The ending was cool, very rarely do endings in flash games have any twist or turns that make you think. A few improvements for part 2 if you make it (hoping that you do). First the option to have a bigger party or instead of empty cages when the party is full the option to replace a member of your party with a new one. More levels definately, because more levels means more shops which means stronger characters and more loot. Maybe you could add a few new obtainable perks, like flying over objects but not being able to hit opponent directly above object, or the ability to move 1 space further. Anyways 4/5 from me would have given it a 3/5 for it's length but the game's execution was the best thing and the difficulty balance was so perfect that only after mastering the game was I able to beat it and even then I only managed to beat it with 2 characters surviving, 1 with 1 health and the other with 2 health.
I came across a bug I believe. On mission 18 of 20 part 3 it says to "hit the boss 30 times with The Great Ball of Fire". As of now it is only keeping track of the number of times you hit the boss with the Ball of Fire in 1 game. It does not carry over into another one it just restarts back to zero. I believe this is a bug because all other missions specify whether to do it in a single game while this one does not. For example in that same mission only part 2 it says "collect 300 coins in a game". Plus as of now there is no way to even hit the boss 30 times with it in 1 game. Even with ammo max fully upgraded you only get 24 shots and ammo is not dropped in a game. Hopefully this is fixed before being released from beta.
Just wanted to let you guys know that I wrote a comment previously chastising the milk coin structure and saying it was a pay-to-win game and scored the game a 2/5. Since then I've come back to play and strangely enough, you guys drastically improved the game. In fact if anything the Milk Coin structure is slightly generous. That is all to rare in these types of games. Usually the structure is set up to rob the customer and the developer rarely responds to any cries from their gamers when it comes to this. I can't wait until the release from beta and hope this game really builds a strong player base, as that is the only thing lacking as of now to make this a very successful game. 5/5 for the changes and the game. Please vote up to help show other developers that it is appreciated when they listen to their players
spent about 4 hours or so playing and think that there is a great game somewhere in here. Unfortunately I think that the current structure of milk coins is going to kill this game before it ever takes off. In the 4 hours I've spent playing single player I have gotten 2 milk coins. Enough for 2 upgrades at 1 milk coin. Then they shoot up to 5 and continue to double. Multiplayer is no different, while you get 20 or so MC's after 5 or so fights from cards, once you reach a certain point your attack is not high enough to kill bosses with even a 4 in defense and it becomes impossible to aquire MC's this way. For a multiplayer game like this to succeed, it needs lots of players not a loyal few. As it is now it is pay to win. I'll check back in a week or so to see if the structure has changed if not then Ciya for good. 2/5 for the idea, normally it would be a 1/5 for any pay to win game.
Hi Erock. It's not meant to be a pay to win but the current multiplayer and WMC is not tuned. We have an update coming up in the next few days to fix all of that. We agree with everything you said. Thanks
Actually after refreshing again I think I singled out the problem. It will allow me to continue playing after refreshing but that is only if I do not click on the dog who is supposed to be a lvl three. When I put my cursor over the dog it shows him being lvl 4/3 which is impossible. Also it says undefined on the bottom of the dogs screen that comes up, maybe instead of maxed, not sure what it supposed to say there. Anyways once you actually click the dog it will freeze the game.
I LEVELD up my sniffer dog to lvl 3 now the game is froze. it still is making all the sounds when I click on stuff plus the music is still going, but I am stuck at the ship building menu and cant get out. I can't even get back to the main menu. I tried to refresh the page but the same thing takes place. Not sure if anyone else has run into this issue but it is gamebreaking.
It happened after beating the 4th stage the fairly easy one
Did you do this in version 1.02 or earlier and it just carried through? in 1.01 and earlier it was possible to over-level and go into negative wealth.
Either way I'll add a little something to ensure it's impossible in the next update.
