Nice game, difficulty level seems pretty good throughout (even with forcefields at chokepoints, getting swarmed is dangerous). The upgrades being kind of bad means you have to really think a bit about where to put which tower, you usually have to use all the slots in a given cluster and not just upgrade one or two towers a bunch of times. The repair mechanic is a bit annoying, hopefully a future version would have a repair all button or a repair toggle that automatically starts repairing stuff when it gets damaged (I get that having to click increases the challenge, but there are better ways to do that too, I'd imagine).
This is the ultimate Christmas of ultimate destiny
red elves and demons and reindeer as far as the eye can see
And only one will bring presents, I wonder who it'll be

I seem to have managed to break the game, I got to mission:undefined with the British. This was in the second mission where using the tank was possible, I think.
Well, I killed 200 monsters in the first part (about 80 % of those got 2- or 3-shot in as many seconds due to my big axe) to get my 300k reward, then proceeded to buy up 600+ gems when they were cheap. Never lost a fight thereafter, including the final boss which I just frantically mashed potions and stun and stuff at. Got my equipment maxed out right before him, too, even the at-that-point-useless exp and gold boosters. Yay for absurd strategies.
Pretty easy, even the hard badge ain't so bad once you get into the flow of it. Helps if you've got some life spare when he goes skull so you can take a couple of hits while finishing him off. On a voice acting note, I get the feeling these guys are competing for biggest ego as much as killing each other. :-)
