I approve of the 'Terria' style view. While the top down veiw was good, this enables caves, and I approve of the "Monster in the Basement" type scenarios this enables. The novelty of a good creeper was a nice touch, and the ability to dig out terrian was a good way to use the creepers flowing nature agianst it. 5/5
Three things this game teaches you: 1: Your character is a Badass. 2: You can, in fact, Win by bringing an axe to a gunfight. And finally 3: When pondering whether or not to bring a knife to a gunfight, reconsider and grab a Urinal.
I buy the heart upgrade and im all: Ok so it will probably hit me when i close this menue... Nope. Well, mabye when i close the upgr- SON OF A ****!!!!!!
*finally beats first level* Oh thank god... "Unfortunately they had time to send our position to their fleet. We can expect a massive invasion force." If that was their idea of a recon unit, Then i cant wait to see their idea of an invasion force.
The game is awesome, but the enemies REALLY need limited focus. Helm, the paladin, just sits there and spams holy light every time you hurt him, and heals himself instantly. He cast it twice when he wasn't hurt, just to rub it in...
When the AI started talking I was thinking "GLaDOS?! Where did you come from!?" Also, make the ending song involve CAKE because the AI sounds like GLaDOS. Finally, The Elite hackers are so irritating. It would be nice if you had an upgrade that prevents their 1337 haxing.
Wow... This is such a dissapointment. I played mech Commando 2 and thought it was awesome, because it was. The Problem here? Number one: YOU ARENT IN A MECH!!! You're in a plane. Number two. It went from being a game where you ran around the level and could take down the enemies more easily, to being a side scrolling-type game. Number 3: It is WAY TO HARD!!! The enemies on the first mission do too much damage, have way to much health, and even with useing both weapons nonstop, I often couldnt kill enough within the time givin by the scrolling screen. Number 4: Since you only move in one direction, the enemies can end up behind you, shooting at you, and you cant do ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!! 1/5 For Effort.
@ kid4kill85 You mean like two modes of animals, ragdoll and alive? Alive meaning that if you put in a live bear (on the menue as Bear(a)) It would maul the dude? Thats a great idea! Put in Parahnna's and have them eat the dude alive!
It's a good thing Ellis isn't in this game. Otherwise you would lose. Perminantely. Because Ellis is awesome. And he has a Chainsaw. And a Grenade Launcher. And Jimmeh Gibbs's stock car. So he is invincible.
Weapons upgrades would be awesome, and a thing where you could see a littile animation of the survivors killing the zombies would be nice. Perhaps upgrades to fortify your barricades so that they boosted the defence. Body armour upgrades to protect your survivors on scouting or killing missions.
