Nothing new. Just some achievements tacked on to make the game have replay value.
PS: Music control. Seriously you flash game designers need to learn that your music, in general, is terrible.
Oh boy! Another platform shooting game loosely based on worms! How creative, it isn't like we haven't seen 4 of these this year alone! Kudos to you for your product, I certainly hope we see more in the future because that's exactly what we need! Copies upon copies upon copies of the same idea!

I don't know enough about Flash to comment, but I don't think it's the API. Especially not since there was no significant delay whatsoever even yesterday. This just showed up, so unless I'm misunderstanding or there's some game breaking changes made to the API, that's not it.
Or at least there was some sort of way to turn off the music. At least then I could listen to something good while playing "press the keyboard in time"
do you know what this game would benefit from? Yes that's right - volume control. Not everyone wants to listen to blaring midi files that absolutely eclipse their music player and their own thoughts at the same time.
I think this is a neat game. Conceptually simple, but you still need strategy to succeed at it. Tests reflexes (for perfects or combinations) and the ability for the user to plan (due to the slow reaction to cursor changes). Overall very fun, and the attention to detail was pristine. Keep at it!
so another scrolling shooter? Oh boy howdy can you believe my excitement? If it wasn't for the badge, then this would have no value to me as it is exactly the same as all the other games.
Oh and is it that hard to put volume control into your game?
As far as I'm concerned this is a pretty terrible game. For two years in the making, the result is a game that I can beat by mashing one button repeatedly. Characters, arenas and game modes are nice, but if the inherent functionality of the game isn't very engaging to begin with, the game isn't going to be any fun to play.
I like the fact that there's collision detection in this game, but I think the game could be better in the following ways:
1. Give me the option to turn off the music at the start of the game
2. Why does the playing field have to be a square? Wouldn't it be so much neater if it were circular or some other shape?
3. When I lose, save the number of balls I was at, and give me the option to start from that point again. The times for the ball appearances are fixed so it's not like me starting from the beginning again is necessary.
The game is easy, but I think that's part of what makes it fun. I also enjoy the environment put on by the game - the journal entries especially. Just adds that little bit extra to what would otherwise be an ordinary flash game.
