I've noticed some problems popping up with Flash keyboard controls in certain browsers since this game was published, like lag and such. If that was your problem, perhaps you could try another browser, such as Chrome? Or if you had stuck key combos, you could try setting custom controls (some keyboards lock out certain combinations of keys, and switching your keys can fix that). Of course, if you just don't like NES-style controls, then this game's not for you!
Wow, really!? The sheer fact that you downloaded a ROM prooves that you're an idiot and you clearly haven't played the ORIGINAL game. Buy a playstation 2, buy the original game and the replay it becuase you couldn't be more wrong.
