It's nice to see a game made in the 2010's with a "gold" system and extremely expensive unlockables but (Holy Nuts) NO MICROTRANSACTIONS. So I actually have to put some effort into getting the rewards without the knowledge that some idiot with money probably just paid his/her way to the goodies. Me Gusta Games, I salute thee with 5 stars and a favorite.
I like the creativity of it all. It's just a shame that one puzzle in the game ruined the whole experience. Why couldn't the chalkboard puzzle have a little hint? You know that a puzzle isn't good when looking up the walkthrough gives zero shame and makes you go, "how was I supposed to figure that out?" I would have given 4 stars but I lowered it instead to 3 giving credit to the imagination of the game. Please, Point-and-Click Adv Game Devs, it's ok to put cryptic puzzles in your game, that's what makes them fun but there's no excuse to not give even very subtle clues.
I finished the game. It badly needed a story. No ending and no context. It's a shame really, the gameplay was really fun and challenging but because there's no story, it's very forgettable. 3/5
Playing this game is like playing the most strict point and click adventure game ever made. Where you're not allowed to click everywhere you like and rub Object A against Object B to proceed because it punishes you if you try to use trial and error.
Anyone with a laggy slow computer gets an advantage when it comes to getting the impossible badge. I managed to acquire it after less than an hour of attempts because the game kept slowing down allowing me to focus better. As for my opinion on the game, normal mode is boring casual grind-til-your-brain-cells-expire gameplay but endless (insane) is where the real game is at. And nice aesthetics so what more can you ask for?
Gameplay is too easy. Still, I appreciate the aesthetics and creativity. The Intro and Outro were all comic style cutscenes which gave the impression that it has the potential of being a webcomic.
This is my favorite type of puzzle game. The hardcore-I-WILL-FINISH-THIS-I-WILL-FINISH-THIS TYPE. The type that is not afraid to make the puzzles so hard they make the player feel like suffocating until they finally make it through all the stages. I finally beat you 10!. . . what's that? There's a sequel now? NOOOOOOO!!!
The utter violence of this game combined with the cartoonish graphics does make the game look like it was made by a madman. Still, Incredibly fun game, definitely had more fun with it than most AAA titles nowadays.
I laughed at myself when I finished the game and found it frustratingly difficult. Because the finals results screen showed 0/6 upgrades bought. I completely forgot about the upgrades system.
I leveled up to 20 and got the easy badge. I'd sooner marry a unicorn and escape earth in a marshmallow rainbow rocket than reach 50 for the medium badge.
Come on, it's not *that* hard. :p
