Sanmei, the beast attack when your character attack. Therefore, if you wish to conserve energy, turn Auto-attack off or don't hold down the left-mouse button. I hope that help =)
Nothing happen if you feed your beast after they have evolved to level 5, Masterluke =). I should disable the feeding option after you hit level 5 beast hmm...
Multiple paths make the game much more interesting and strategic than just trying to defend one path. It is NOT impossible to plan ahead, you just need to use your head a little more.
