Update on CE 2.0
The Olsen brothers are transferring the game from Unity 4 to the new release of Unity 5. More possibilities for lighting effects, speed, etc.
This transfer will also solve a lot of other problems and gives many more opportunities for the development of the game.
Meanwhile Devin finished a couple of other maps and is reworking some existing maps.
This is why they needed us to try the Pre Beta test of the game, to find bugs and problems. When these issues are all solved, we can start again from scratch.
So be patient and use any browser except Chrome to play.

Because the new website and game is build in a complete new setup, with it's own chat-, message-, and community-system, a problem occured with insurting it at Facebook. Seems that Facebook is not ready for such a thing as this. The problem is that this only turned up at the time the Devs wanted to launch the game. They started immediately in order to solve this problem. As you all know, this game will be, like CE 1.0, playable for free at their own website (www.combat-extreme.com), at Facebook, Kongregate, FOG and a number of other gaming websites, so it has to be fixed before the actual launch. It's better that this occured now then first launching and getting everything back offline because it doesn't work proparly.
When you want a great game and website, be patient for a little while longer and give the Devs the respect they earn.
If all goes as planned, the Beta launch will start at Februari 1 at :

Due to some business reasons the release date has been pushed and developers need 30 extra days.
This problem is beyond the will off the Developers. It's an outside company that can't get some things ready in time. When this issue is not solved, it is not legaly by the US Goverment to set the game online. So be patient.
The Developers are doing everything in their possibilities to solve this problem asap.
The game may release before these 30 days if they got permission sooner.
Please cooperate guys, be a little more patient and support the Developers as they already have done a big job.

You only have to download and install the unity version (3.5.7) that is linked at the starting page of the game. Look at the description under WARNING. Hi Combat Extremers, the game is playable again. Do the following steps. At the screen 'SERVER REGION SELECTION' at the bottom there is the link to install the UnityWebplayer 3.5.7. With this link installed you can move at the game. Remind to do this every time you want to play. Enjoy.
