nerdook: "lack of long term progression definitely hurts the rating of the game somewhat, but I intentionally did that because I wanted a dungeon crawl that's quick and easy to play. Just a tactical RPG lite without the fluff, dialogue, long stories, etc." Well, I think you did a great job if this was your goal. I enjoyed the gameplay. I see that a lot of the comments are telling you tweak the game in the other direction of what you were planning, but I personally think the game is fine the way you made it since it's not supposed to be a regular hardcore RPG. While other people may have a ton of criticisms, the only criticism I have is that I don't know which character is able to equip what when I buy it. Other than that, I had a lot of fun with this game.
This is how I finished my levels
1. Custom character, beastmaster or monk
2. Beastmaster: send the wolf to kill and lure monsters because the wolf respawns every battle. Monk: if you can get your monk to finish off the monsters by skipping a person's turn, then do it
3. Teammates, need both Emily and Crystal for heal
4. Unless healths are maxed, use heal skills at the beginning of a fight
4. In a fight, bunch all fighters together. That way when the monsters surround you, all of them can be attacked and they’re unable to gang up on one person
5. If you get a spirit, make him a reserve character, only using him to wipe out the WEAK monsters. Don’t let him die
7. If the treasure chests are on the way, get them. If they're not, kill all monsters except one, and then send the characters to get the treasure
8. Explore the entire map
9. Fight every battle except the boss battle on each level
10. Spend coins on leveling up, only buying the really good items that are usually 125+
Really fun bullet hell. Felt my adrenaline kicking in on the last two levels. I knew that when it said, "The Last Stand" on level 19, it wasn't. I was wondering what you were going to do for level 20 and I wasn't disappointed. Especially love dodging the green missiles, they're the fastest and this is what a bullet hell should really be. 5/5 from me.
....I think I just lost my save file?
After unlocking Shiro (5 scrolls) yesterday and coming back today, all my upgrades are gone and he's locked again?
Does this game still have some kinks that need to be worked out? Because it's been 3 months and my units haven't recovered their TP energy....it's Y1812 now and M1....
Yes it does :( We're very sorry about that, and we're fixing it right now!
