You can go to previous levels and get a small chest. That's the way I did it.
Also, I found a bug: If you get stuck between monsters+walls or anything, and try to move to another square, the game freezes and it's game over, you have to refresh page.
And improvement suggestion: Make it possible to redo the walking, sometimes I accidentally click the wrong tile, because it's hidden, and lose a whole turn this way sometimes...

He can make a flash game, and speak/write pretty understandable English.
You only can talk English but I don't see you making any flash games.
I think his ability to make.. pretty interesting games makes up for his disability to speak 100% correct English.

GUIDE TO WIN:
First things first:
Complete rescuing people, you don't get much first, but after a couple of rescues you get a shitload of XP.
Gather XP for the laser gun as it kicks ass.
If you see you're in trouble before getting close to the cost of the laser gun - buy light machinegun, gather for laser then.
After you're done with the people, choose whatever you want, even though you better could pick CRATES because you can bring it to base through the carnage shooting around with still 30+ hp left... Weak Zombies.
When you face bosses just kick the fu** out of them.
GATHER for gauss bullets for the shotgun - Kicks ass.
Upgrade your shotgun after you have gauss and use it ever after.
When you're done with all the pickable missions... just buy the med packs and let the carnage begin :)
P.S DON'T BUY MEDS AT START! THEY COST TOO MUCH THEN, WAIT UNTIL THEY COST 2k IF YOU REALLY WANT SOME.
