Wait a minute, regarding the oppressive tax collectors on the first level... don't they work FOR the king? And to help the king gather his forces your first mission is to... destroy the the collectors?
Would have been a pretty good game but for the following: 1 it is often impossible to dodge enemy bullets, especially large ones as they will be fired nearly parallel to and low to the ground on either side of the screen and you can only move... along the ground, 2: the final boss just feels like a grindfest because of the missile mazes. Even on the offchance of passing a missile through the maze which is difficult because of the maze floating around and large hit boxes, they do very little damage.
How is it that the enemy's instant kill skills will say 5 or 10% but act like 100%? I'll have 10 fully-upgraded units in a row instakilled by 1 enemy and my guys won't even get off a single attack. Meanwhile I've never seen the ranger/assassin instakill ever work.
