It looks like my high score for Grisly Manor keeps getting taken down for whatever reason (it's somewhere around 437), so I'll tell my secret. My trick for getting the top score is this: after hitting a speed boost & before it wears off completely, I would do stuff like hang onto the wall and constantly jump & flap my arms to maintain some of that speed boost (staying on your feet returns you to normal speed faster, so stay off the ground). Even jumping when walking down a slope can give a slight speed boost (you can see your distance speed up in survival when doing this). If you can master this technique on Grisly Manor, then you can trim around 40-60 seconds off your score.
It'd also be nice if the treasure chests refreshed daily... it'd give a reason to replay other levels instead of farming the same few over and over (Manor level 3 & 5 are my favorites). Also, throwing in coins randomly in survival mode would add an extra challenge.
@cliffordjhlee There are 59 silver skullies in that level. I think you might be missing one when you do the wall jump, because there's a skully hidden behind the flag on the top beam. What I usually do is jump over the beam, and when I fall down, the hidden skully is picked up by my magnet.
Odd... I'm trying to play the Nether wave, but once I reached my house, I can't build anything, and no monsters show up when I keep pressing "Skip"... only my wave count goes up.
Not sure if this is a bug or if there was a 1-man army attacking me, but for one round my army killed the first enemy on the screen right-away, and I won the round.
@onlyantiidle - You might need to make a deposit for the quest to work. I had the same problem where I reached the goal through collecting interest, but it didn't complete the quest until I made a deposit.
If you're having trouble with the timer for Math, quickly memorize the numbers and switch to another tab to slow the game down to 1/3rd of its normal speed, and then switch back once you've figured out the answer. So pretty much every 3 seconds you spend while on the other tab will take away 1 second from the timer. (The time may vary on different computers)
I think the 2% interest rate is pretty fair, since you need to collect the interest rate around 36 times to double your original amount. If you can collect the interest every 5 minutes, then it'll take 3 hours to double your money... which is great when you're a millionaire and need to farm cash to win the Double or Nothing game.
If you're having trouble with the Math combo, don't forget that switching tabs can slow the game down by quite a bit (doesn't completely freeze the game). So what you do is quickly memorize the new numbers and switch tabs, then punch the numbers into a calculator while the game is running slow, then switch the tab back to the game to answer the question. I usually had 1-3 seconds to spare on the highest level using this trick, and my combo ended at 174 after screwing up a number. Right now only 32 people got this quest done, and I expect the scoreboard to be completely filled with winners by tonight. :)
@vucadby - It took me over 11,000 snail catches to finally get lucky enough to hit a 57 snail combo... before that, the most I was getting were 40-44 combos, and those only happened at least 5 times.
There's a lot of repetition of movements needed for some of these activities, such as licking the ice cream and wiggling the penguin free. It'd be nice to see a progress bar for those.
