The game is great. I love all the little detail that are, while looking trivial, are still missing from 99.9% of other games. The design is very beautiful and swirly. The ideas are great. Eagerly waiting for more games in this universe.
P.S. The "pointer-events" property was only supported for SVG elements. Mozilla added it for HTML elements in Firefox 3.6 (http://hacks.mozilla.org/2009/12/pointer-events-for-html-in-firefox-3-6/). It's not satndards-compliant though - Mozilla was planning to add "pointer-events" to the CSS3 draft, but it was removed (as written here: https://developer.mozilla.org/en/CSS/pointer-events). So, please, don't hate Internet Explorer for only supporting the "pointer-events" property for SVG elements as it is the standard now.
Thank you. And about 'pointer-events' and browsers... yes we know - we'll try to do our next game on canvas - it should resolve many our 'little' problems. I don't hate any browser I like them all more or less but I wanted to play with html/css elements and check my/their limits.
The game has problems even with basic count.
I have all stars, yet Kongregate shows I only have 45/48
I have 12 cards, but Kongregate shows I only have 11
Level 6:3:
1/3 + 1/6 = 1/2 ???
I somehow suddenly finished the game via a glitch:
I had troubles beating the last battle. So I was going in/out the equip store to look for the item I needed. Then one of the time I hit Exit, the ending cutscenes started playing. Now the game says that I completed the last battle, but I got no badge for ending the game.
Survival:
Got to 13% without dieing (5400 enemy combo, 21000 pixel combo, 231mil score) and quit. Too long and repetitive.
Story mode:
I never managed to die...
Graphics is good (especially the orange ship), but there are too few different enemy types and their behavior is too similar. (Contrast that to the Geomentry Wars - only a handful of enemies, but they are very different)
I think that the best combination is ttshgggghggg. 2 turtles allow me to live twice as long. The "tail" doesn't need to be shielded; healer is enough.
It managed to get to ~wave 25, raid 150.
On a leevel with bog I got to ~wave 20, raid 100. It's hard to stun the bog tower when the stun spell costs 1100+ mana.
I liked the game a lot. The story was intriguing and the song was so beautiful.
It's sad that the data on the internet is not eternal.
The ImpendingRiot's post with story insights ( http://impendingriot.newgrounds.com/news/post/516463 ) was deleted and the inthernet didn't leave a single copy. That's just said. All I can do is wait for the 4th.
The instructions are wrong:
"Up, Left, Down, and Right = A, W, S, D" - wrong
The real controls are:
"A, W, S, D, no key = move in random direction; move right through the toughest enemy; leave the sphere full of bubbles; move away; stop moving" - the real controls
This is the shittiest game I've ever played!
Why? Because normally I don't play shitty games, but in this one has shit is inside the candy!
