Wonderful. I think that the reason why the girl is already golden in the credits is a metaphor. The original story of Midas teaches that greed leads to bad things. In this game, Midas already has his greedy powers, and tries to get the girl at the same time. At the end, the girl is already golden to show that losing her was inevitable. 5/5, favorited.
My only complaint is that the fade in thing on each level, although insanely cool, slows down gameplay like mad on my computer, even on low quality. Perhaps a toggle on/off for that? Or make it fade in before a key is pushed so it doesn't affect gameplay. Other than that, loved it!
How to make it snow: Select level 10. Draw a slanted line from the source to the end of the left antler. From the top, draw another slanted line from where the sugar falls to the left end of the word "Sugar". From there, draw a steep, fine dotted line all the way to the left end. No need to rush, the sugar will go back to the top when it hits the bottom. After awhile, the sugar will disperse and it will look like snow! You can block off the color things with pointed "roofs" to keep the snow white. + to keep alive!
Very well executed flash version of a classic game. Perhaps a Kong integration of user made levels? Also, I wouldn't hide the level editor, a lot of people won't realize it's there and it's one of the best parts. 4/5
I actually enjoyed the first two much more than this one. Fine tuning the ball size was an intuitive idea in its own, I was disappointed to see that this one rid that feature.
Fun depending on who you're playing with, as all games like this are. There are plenty of bugs that should be taken care of, like the frequent crash, and time being shorted for no reason. Plus, I know it's a British game and that's cool and all, but it should only have universal words for British and American English, or an option between the two.
"Sir, this madman has ran over construction workers, outran our police cars, dodged spikes, and has been speeding. What shall we do?"
"Stand in the middle of the road and sternly whistle at him."
It's me, I like to work in the nights, so I usually have red eyes
