Why don't you try the space bar instead of the "f" key for the center, and then shift the right hand side over a letter (d be f, s be d, ect)?? That might help make it feel more balanced.
This is a very pretty and interesting puzzler. The time runs were great since I didn't always get the same puzzle each run through--meant it stayed a challenge for a while there.
This is immensely fun and has wasted so much of my life in two days.
But when you have no symptoms, I want to know how on EARTH people start freaking out when its harmless and almost impossible to find. Or the fact it's nearly impossible to get to madagascar.
I want to know how many people actually knew that "skalds" and a few others were actually words...
Also, lack of pause /sucks./ If you're worried about someone reading the keys, then just set it up so the words vanish, or a huge screen blocks everything.
It was all right. It's an interesting way to move around, and fairly intuitive. I didn't like how I was never sure where close enough to my little tank was. It got semi repetive too. But overall, and all right game.
