I finally got the 8000 badge by being (mostly) monogamous. This game is great, it shows how a simple design and strong theming is still the best way to succeed in game design. 5/5
Sooooo boring. Characters all feel the same, graphics are "retro" (which is an excuse for crappy art), levels are repetitive... pretty awful all around.
Such a tedious grind. Not a lot of actual playing in this game, mostly it's watching. And the levels are all substantially the same, so watching is not terribly interesting either. Ultimately pretty boring.
What an awesome game! The rotating play field is great, and the ships were well balanced it seems. 5/5 and tipped 25 cred. Is there a way to make a ship shoot at a non-adjacent target without moving? I couldn't find it, and there were situations in which I wanted to do that for tactical reasons. Maybe add that in a patch.
All you whiners need to STFU. "Ohh WAAAAAA the free games you're giving me aren't enough, everything in the world should be given to me free waaaaaaa" Little babies. Either get a freakin' McDonalds job, which is enough income to pay these tiny costs for upgrades, or just accept that the COMPLETELY PLAYABLE FREE GAME you're getting is enough even without the upgrades.
This is an extraordinary game. So basic in concept that I could've programmed it on my Apple ][ in 1985, which proves that a good game doesn't need flashy graphics if it's got a solid design. 5/5 and wish I could rate it higher.
Umm, it's really dumb that an Uzi is better than an assault rifle. Plus, Uzi is a brand/model, whereas all the other guns are classes/types of weapon. Take 10 minutes to read Wikipedia about guns before designing a game with guns.
