Effigy of the Forgotten

People, hard is meant to be hard. The general strategy linked in-game works pretty well, you want to have a totally upgraded ultragun and drones by level 6-7. Don't use the front turret points as they can get shot off. Upgrade turret HP to boost the main ship HP or you won't be able to survive bomb ships. And leading shots with a slow gun isn't impossible.
The main problem with this game's difficulty is the fact that the enemies are so varied in their resistances that they can't be beaten with the money you have. Build anything but mass electro and you'll die on the red soldiers. But that doesn't work as electro is too weak to kill the rest.
Powefuls right on the money, I did the pasted guide a few times. On my second run without buying transmissions, I got the badge (on a New Zealand start).
An easy strategy for survival: Take a warrior, a cleric and at least one big area damage dealer. Get full armor for the warrior and full power regen for the cleric.
Then in battle, use the fight duration buffs like Inspire and use the Cleric's Anoint spell on your area damage character before finishing a wave. You can guarantee a lot of damage before the monsters get to attack.
Interesting idea but it really screws you over if you pick starter cards without knowing about the game, basically locking you out of top tier play unless you pay real money.
