Thanks for letting me know, I tested it out on Kongregate only briefly. Turns out it was not memory usage but issue with highscore submission. I originally set it to submit score on every score change. In later stages that was many times per second, which probably caused the lag. I increased the frequency of submission and it seems to run smoother now.
Repair beams should target by lowest percentage, because depending on the hull of each ship, you could have repair beams trying to repair a ship that's at 100%, since that ship's hull at 100% can be less than other ships, even if they are damaged.
I did not play this before the developer said the game would be rebalanced, but if this is less grindy, then the original must have been horrible. This game is still extremely grindy and repetetive.
The game should remember if you turn on auto attack. It's a minor inconvenience to have to go to the options to turn it back on every time I load the game up again.
Game's way too easy. The only gun I used was the sniper, and that's all you need, unless some how you manage to miss every single headshot, which shouldn't be difficult seeing how all of the enemy's heads basically line up for that shot.
