save enough for 2 tanks, than buy paratroopers 3 times, than a cannon, than fortify with bunkers, finally lay wire and a minefireld. i lasted last time till wave 97
when i was second LT the tanks blew themselves up sometimes, but as soon as i got to first LT it started to stop, and completely stopped at CPT. it seems tanks and troops get smarter as you gain rank, or ribbons
no tanks are very good. i bought mine around wave 15 and it lasted my till i got overrunned on wave 90. it didn't die. it still had 400 hp and it took quite a grenade beating
