Please help! I always have enough food in the beginning but as I get to day 50-60 on harder mode I start to run out of survivors to recruit, happiness drops to 0 with no way to bring it up and even with my whole team of 30 survivors guarding the fort I only have a 40% chance of survival against the zombie horde. This is impossible
@thepersister2. Thanks for the advice. I've gotten enough food in the beginning to the point where I am struggling to fill my ranks with survivors but I can't find enough. On top of that, the zombie attacks keep getting stronger and stronger and even when I put my survivors on guard to turn into soldiers the loss% continues to climb til its near 30-40% with full occupancy. Also, once I've been playing long enough, happiness inevitably drops to the number of churches/bars I have. Even when I have enough food, I can't keep the survivors in my camp from rioting or leaving or have enough apartments to keep them even if I could find enough. I don't know how 8000 people got the hard badge. It's freaking impossible
Does anyone have any idea how the hell you are supposed to keep happiness high? Yes build churches and bars but that is not enough and I can't throw a f@cking party when everyone is starving already
I think it is pretty clear... harder mode is impossible. Even when I have enough squares and food to accomodate more survivors there aren't enough to counteract the effects of random deaths and abandonments. Even when I cleared out all the zombies in the evil graveyard, I don't have enough happiness to begin. I also tried building up my defenses with 3 fortified malls and 2 police stations. For some reason people think it is a good idea to riot and get eaten by zombies than to fight for their lives.
