To me, Josh is more useful for his weapon spreads shots and the amount of profit from enemies increases. After you collect enough money, the need to keep him in the team almost disappears. Erica is good to have only as team leader for attack rate, as her shots are so precise she can't hit enemies unless directly under them. Ray, as good as he is at helping upgrade weapons fast in missions and the support of his drones, just doesn't do enough damage. Glenn is a powerhouse after level 10 with his attack rate boost. Selena, despite a slow start, but becomes very useful, but I don't feel her leader powers are enough that I would want to use her as such.
Although earning money was not a problem later on, the lack of experience for replaying a mission is disappointing. As a completionist, I feel compelled to maximize the level of the characters, which is impossible in the game. If not for that reason, I would give it 5/5. As it stands, it just isn't as satisfying.
Although I have played pipe-style games similar to this, the different aspects of color addition, coupled with the different playing styles make it a game in its own right. However, the difficulty is limited in that the diverse pathways never have redundancies, meaning players can (relatively) tell what orientation to put a piece simply by how it appears to fit into the entire screen.
There seems to be a glitch in the alien Artifact Retrieval mission. When the humans have 9, they win as soon as the alien team gets a point. It should be impossible.
The game is way too easy. All I did was upgrade speed and power until they were both 10/10 and I could see how blood is practically pointless in those stages. Good luck to those who like it though.
For all out there that feel it won't save, it is not true. It doesn't auto-save, but if you hit the exit button (the icon with the door) it will save and bring out the menu. It is there until you choose to reset. I hope this helps people, though I am not sure it will even be used.
This game is intense on how many different pathways to explore. The only problem, if you want to call it that, is that chaos fire mages are overpowered when combining extra additional high/low bolts and special draining bolts. Other than chaos fire, I have yet to finish the quest as the great mage.
