This game was beautiful. The idea that it's a reference to Self-Mutilation is also a super good idea. The game was cute, and thinking about it as a relationship was nice, but after reading ShoeTactical's thing, I realize it was an even better game. It was still super cute, though :D.
Hmm. Well, this is yet another launch game. However, it doesn't feel complete. It *is* a tad bit different from the others that jmtb02 has made, and, unfortunately, that isn't really a good thing. The experience earned in game seems to do absolutely nothing. All it does is add in a number that means pretty much nothing in regards to the game. Why not a bar with achievements earned/total achievements instead? Along with that, as some posters have previously said, the game is kind of anti-climactic. There aren't any real goals in the game. There's no drive to keep playing. This feels more like an idea of a game rather than a completed game. Not the quality that I've come to expect and love from games by jmtb02. I'm rating this at 2/5. If this is the direction that jmtb is going, I'm not sure that I'll continue to play his games as often, nor will I expect anything from him. It's unfortunate. I've been playing his games for a long time, but this just doesn't cut it.
Well, Delos, I look forward to seeing what happens. I still think a reset could be in order. I don't know if anybody would actually agree with that, but that way we could all build up the world together rather than trying to fix what the last generation did. (If only we could do that in the real world...)
So, I see that a lot of people are kind of surprised and disappointed with the current state (ha) of affairs with the country. Perhaps it would be in everyone's best interest to simply pass a win bill. Any win bill. That way, we could reset the game, and everything could actually be made by everyone, rather than (from what I've read) the new players messing around in a country that was screwed up by the old players.
The pay down national debt bill is definitely going to move things in the right direction, though public health is about to become a hilariously negative number.
I've already commented that I like the game, but you do continue to amaze me. The patience that you've shown throughout the 504 issues was rather impressive. Even more so was the patience you showed with the people that commented without bothering to read the previous comments. I'm very, very impressed with both this game and you. Nice job. If you ever need any help (random, but still), let me know. You've done what no other developer on this site has: impressed me with their responsiveness and ability to help people out beyond just saying, "Hey, thx. Glad you like it."
This game is beautiful. The main thing that I've learned (even if I'm only on day two) is that drugs are necessary. All the drugs. ALL THE DRUUUUUUUGS!!!!!!!! Maybe I'll be a politician now :D.
Helvian and griwan... i agree. I come back randomly at intervals of like a month to a year. When i first joined atlas was always full and i had to leave my computer on to save my spot. now we have dead chat practically all the time.
um, yeah, that's an intended feature so you can't filibuster forever.
