Gameplay: Very good. I would suggest making the pieces stick wherever the user wanted to place them (in case they want to organize some). Artwork: Be CAREFUL as a developer. If you dont have proper permission to use the artwork in these puzzles, DONT. I know for a fact that WotC doesn't allow their artwork reproduced, which you have a couple examples in here.
Zoom option that lets you pan around would be great... and build the AI so that rockets dont kill your own stars. Currently if you take a star while rockets are on the way, they explode, but if they fire just after you take the star, they just kill you.
Could use contrast / transparency settings. Those of us running on 16x12 res have a hard time distinguishing the circles. Also, speed settings that can be changed in game (not just before)... Also, maybe an option to remap the keys.
Buggy... but not immediately noticeable. Sometimes your ships fly off to nowhere and your population count doesn't go down. Sometimes the victory condition just isn't checked... Others too, but I cant think of what I've seen.
Ok... first off, delete my score from the high scores. I was just putzing around to see if you worked against easy hacking. Obviously, no...
The game's interesting, mildly amusing, and promising. I would have included some easy multiplier for combos (make a variable that held the combos in a round, then multiply the score for that round by (1+0.1*round_combo) or 1.1^round_combo. That's easy and increments reasonably well maybe 1.2 instead of 1.1... but either way.
