So, some thoughts: Great bare bones for a game. There are bits where it stuttered a bit for me, but that might just be my computer. I like the combination of idle/active effects. You could probably lean further into the "Idle" territory and have more ways of killing townsfolk like the bear trap. Also, spells would be a nice addition, like being able to unlock different spells that you can use for a certain number of souls each. Maybe also add a secondary resource. Blood maybe? Perhaps different kill methods give you different amounts of each resource. Like a juicer would give you lots of blood but few souls while a sacrificial altar would be the reverse. That would give it some resource management aspects. Heck, you could add more resources than that, even. Anyway, good luck and hope you keep going with it!
