whoa i thought the firefox changes were coming in april :( sorry, guys who cant play this. i'll be looking at getting this working in webgl over the next few weeks, until then there are apparently workarounds to let you play unity games in firefox by doing this: https://mike.kaply.com/2017/02/02/plugin-support-in-firefox-52/#respond
Guys, if you get NaN% patient approaching, please go to rhythmdr.com - there's an offline version to download there. Upboat for visibility please, thanks!
Ah I understand now, Ali, but where is my flashing line?!

The meta game of getting all the rows is brilliant game design, btw. It adds a lot to the strategy.
Hey Hafiz, (I guess)! Look at the "On" signs lift side of the lines. you should turn them on for all lines.
Thanx for your comment. :D I have no damn idea how they could get +1000 scores!!
Tips for getting an S rank in the calibration minigame (which I seem to be the only one right now): wear headphones, and you need to sort of get into a zen mode where you aren't actively concentrating. Also you only need 10 hits for it to be counted, after that it's really a choice - hit closer to the average (denoted by the line) and you improve your spread, but can you trust yourself to do that? Hehe. Good luck!
Just added the Kong stats API. We got 6th in the monthly contest, thanks for voting everyone! Try beating my A-rank on the leaderboards for the calibration mini-game (press R in the main menu). Have fun!
Just to let you know, there's an Android version here for dirt cheap:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fizzd.connectedworlds
Much appreciated if you would buy it! No IAPs ever and lifetime free updates guaranteed. Instead I justify adding new features by increasing the price ever so slightly with each new world, meaning if you buy it now you are rewarded with a cheaper price. Thanks!
One of my favourite browser games ever :) love coming back to it every once in a while, everything is really well thought out, the scoring system, the three notes being being a triad so there's no discord, how the musical layers build up as the score increases.. it's a true masterclass in rhythm gamedev. Congrats maribald and stevesan!
also i just wanna add that looking at the rating of this game, boy am i glad that the final placings in the competition weren't chosen by the idiot public!
I truly feel your pain in getting sounds to sync with the beat in Flash, it's something i'm struggling with too; it would be really nice if you did a little blog post explaining your method in the end of making all the sounds go on the beat. I've noticed for example how there's a delay before the music gets updated when you first place a reflector. Am I right in saying you use the StandingWave library to prepare the beat only when each ball is created?
Getting the sounds and visuals synced with the music was challenging. I spent more time on that than anything else in the game. StandingWave was a huge help. You're right that the beat is "prepared" ahead of time. The game looks ahead to see when future collisions will happen so it can add the sound to a ListPerformance ahead of time. I'll post a bit more detail on apparitiongames.com in the next few days. Good luck with your game and thank you so much for the comments!
this.. this is just genius. as a musician-gamer you have made me very happy indeed ^^
(also, having played all the entries, i actually honestly think this one should've won just for being i think the only entry where music was a very integral part of the game without feeling like it had been tacked on for tacking-ons sake. for example how everything fits to the beat so perfectly, oh my goodness i just cannot believe how genius this game is!)
lol, Seriously I thought about it to set a "highscore" table for "lowest scores"
