my name is derived from a stripe of red fur from my muzzle to my tail when I am in Wolf form.
Most people think of horrible ugly monsters when they think of werewolves (thank you Underworld) but there are different “breeds” of werewolf. Lycans (Homo Sapiens Lupus) are the most common form and aren’t really werewolves because they can’t control their change or themselves in “wolf” form. Moderates (Homo Lupus Minor) are the most common true werewolf but their change is slow (sometimes taking up to 15 minutes) and painful. Then there is the Timber Wolves (Homo Lupus Major) the rarest werewolf. Timber Wolves are “a complete amalgamation of wolf and man” and can change anytime, whether partially or fully.
