I think that there are some serious problems which just can´t keep players playing:
1) Battles are good, but in a mission where I am supposed to destroy 12 units I should win after destroying 12 units. Why should I wait another 3 tuns in which I kill another 12 units, but I still loose because of low HP. What do you think? Does it motivate player or demotivate?
2) Raids and missions give us some gold for free, which is great.. but it´s all the same all over again. Why should I play with pre-set cards and pre-set battles with same rules each day? I would like to enjoy the game not to grind some more gold so I could buy new cards so I could grind some gold again. It is fine to play it once in a week, but you can´t force us to play the same thing all day and all night just so we could gain some gold!
3) PVP is fine, enjoying.. but there will soon be no people.
Bring us some extraordinary rules or something. Something that would motivate us to return every day!

To go through your points one by one: 1) There are different game modes indeed and the one you are talking about was designed that way on purpose, on the other hand what you suggested sounds very good and we are writing it down to see if we could implement it soon in our game (thanks!). 2) Missions use preset decks that are designed especifically to make the battle a challenge, no matter what you have in your deck and were also designed to grind gold and get special cards that can only won by winning them. On the other hand, you can use your deck in raids, and they give blueprints as rewards which are needed for crafting. 3) Regarding PvP, we have added daily missions for winning gold when playing PvP and we will definitely keep thinking about ways for you guys to stick around! ;)
The time goes 0:00, but the game doesn´t end. It seems that neither of us can do a thing and we both are forced to lose rating. It hurst when you lose rating just because the game doesn´t work properly.
Great game indeed. One of the best games on kogregate ever. I play it periodically - after a year or so I always return. Unfortunately, my saved data always got lost. It would be great to improve the way this game saves data.. save it on my computer, generate a code.. anything.. just do not let it on players (some of us do not undestand IT). Saying "search with Google for local shared object" is like "Hey, I made the whole game myself, if you want to save your progress, search for instructions using Google." Saving is really important part of any long-lasting games and it is a great help to players who return, because most of us can´t play nonstop 365 days in a year. Still, 5/5.
What came to my mind today - achievements and and secret achievements. For example "play 100 practise games" or "defeat grandmaster AI" or "1000 magic kills" or "promote 100 pieces". This way we could gain gold, ruby or get some rare pieces which are actually very hard to collect. The difference between normal and secret achievements is that you would not know what to do since secret achievements would not be visible in game and would be very hard to complete - mostly gained during the "strangest" games. For example for promoting some very hard-to-promote pieces or for destroying a fireball with frostmage. This way, players would be somehow "forced to" use minions and champions which are somehow harded to success with, for example Envy.
This game really reminds me of OGame. There are some differences of course, but I feel like this is a well designed game focused so, that player has absolute freedom. And that´s what I like the most about it. A lot of options, nice technological tree and freedom. You do a fascinating job with making all the planets. I wish the game will prosper and players will be able to colonize other galaxies and meet new, fascinating design.
