This game is still full of critical bugs after a year: after a Challenge back to area 75 -but- Sylpheed is lvl 1, after a page/game refresh Sylpheed is now only lvl 349 (ramdom?) with only a useless bunch of exp point.

That is weird, did you turn it off under the options menu, or disable storage in the browser you are using. If neither of these, can you tell me your browser version and if you replicate it. Thanks
