I don't know how the cooldown works, but I had 8 books and the 25% recharge rate from the skill tree, but skills still seemed to take the same amount of time to recharge, destroyed my idea of a no-cooldown archer or sword build.
how are we supposed to get enough of an advantage to get to campaing 7 and over? I even waited and bought 100 sharpshooters from the start and still got beat up at campaing 4 and 5.
Are you going to make deeds give some global bonuses? the way it is I just can't see how you're supposed to finish the game
Also, does armor/magic have a cap or can you get them to absorb all damage?
It depends on how you play. Spells play quite an important role besides the army. So getting a spell that decreases the initiative of the enemy, or one that boosts yours, a damage spell that cleans up the field before your shooters can fire - there are countless ways on how you can play the game. Armor is capped at around 70% if I recall correctly. Making the hero invincible is not part of the plan :) Deeds will not give global bonuses.
also, how are we supposed to get through the game later? The dargon of cobblerock event gives over 20 soulstones on godlike but it has 8700HP...which is kinda much, was the game made this hard specifically or do you still have to balance things?
The game was made especially hard to balance things. Some bosses are easier to defeat, some will end your game if you don't retreat. It's the gameplay and free will to choose. The boss is beatable if you come from a later campaign back to it.

Don't want to start over with my lvl 50 raiders when I had everyone over 100 and one at lvl 200 on NG.
does swiftness also increase attack speed or just movement, and if it's just movement what's it's use here? getting faster to enemies isn't bad but there are better things to occupy a skill slot
please rebalance crafting/buying items, crafting with 2 crystals gives overpowered items, I'm barely at second boss and I have some items above level 40. Buying crystals worth 100 kreds or more is game breaking.
