OK, after persisting with this game and finding the mission enjoyable I completed Caesar and was on the 8th of the Barbarian guys and my save has been deleted. Afraid the 3/5 is now 1/5 as I can't endure redoing my work.
Ok, am I missing something or is there no hold ground or retreat option? Just spam, spam? This makes the Shamans useless as they just wander right up to the castle, briefly healing/buffing a few units before being slaughtered.
I often disagree with games that demand money to enjoy the content but This, THIS game deserves it. Incredible effort went in to making this incredible game, I've spent countless hours getting to the last level. For so many hours of fun a few $/£ is nothing. I've spent 30 times the money buying a console game that was nowhere near as entertaining. Just, just go away you free loading, expecting quality games for free children.. wait till you grow up and see that you have to pay for most of what you enjoy.
I've always loved GemCraft games and would have been happy to play any new version.. but this? This is unbelievable, it is so very very polished. I'd never have expected this level of refinement. This deserves to knock Cursed Gems off the top.
While I adore the graphics, though miss some 8bit audio, hell any audio! I find this game tedious, not boring (as I'm one of those people who will persevere with almost any game involving stat leveling) but a strain to get through. I recently bought (with gems, i.e real money) the lockpick for the pirate island quests and I'm lost for meaningfull words. As far as I've gotten, the lockpick quests (that I payed to play) are the most tedious, least rewarding (in exp and gold) quests in this game, or any rpg, mmo or not. They are.. easy for the developers but they will suffocate your wallet. After 'Noob Island' I'd have payed to play, but I really regret it, this game has obvious potential but should not be askinh for money at this undeveloped stage.
Finding a frustrating bug when I drag my mouse too far when throwing and I go off screen, the game freezes and I have to force shutdown my browser. I'm just too eager to chuck that wee plane!
Can't seem to get the 'Pervert' medal, have clicked Nats breasts on many occasions, different clothes, during her limit break but never get the medal.. anyone able to help?
Loving it so far. Saw the 'beer' icon and was a bit confused that it looked like a tin of Tennant's... but after seeing the authors page and seeing he/she is a weedgie it sure is a can of T, braw!
While this looks better and has campaign, it's not as playable, therefore, not as fun.
The newly added cards are brutaly unfair on harder levels where the comp has far superior resources. I tweaked my deck quite alot and while I can beat the hard levels it is dependant on a lucky draw from the deck. I had to quit and restart the level till I got the cards I wanted and even then the computer often got lucky and took me down with one card, Curse, Trojan, early Theft.
It's easier to win on defence, hitting the 100 mark. But thats not as fun as crushing your foes castle, is it?
Half way through hard I've given up and decided to rant instead. Long awaited let down that can be easily adjusted to be a 5/5 for me, for now it's a charitable 3/5.
