Happy you enjoyed it! Working on a similar styled sequel at the moment that will try to improve on some of the things I felt was lacking with this game, length being one of them!
Fun game, good overall concept! I agree that it's too short.
-The Mao is not explained very well. It seems like an un-needed feature, that could be replaced by a button on the main screen signaling the next wave. If you decide to keep the map, develop it a little more.
-Takes up a LOT of memory to play this, is there any fix? Anything I need to do to my machine?
Been playing this on and off for a week.. finally got the two ways to win accomplished! Really fun game! I agree with earlier comments - I'd like to see an overall counter for say, total wood per minute being produced. God job!
Great graphics and concept! You did a wonderful job!
I do want to offer a constructive criticism, though, not an put-down. I thought the actual gameplay was unclear. I spent the first few minutes gathering dragonflies, and even after I had 6 or 7 the teleported didn't work. I had to come back to it a few times and it just randomly worked on like the third try.
After that, I teleported to a completely new area of the map where I sort of wandered for a minute until the game suddenly told me I had won.
Other than that, though, it was a VERY cool game with a great, creepy atmosphere and awesome 3d graphics! And you probably kept the gameplay simple on purpose, so you could experiment with the graphics platform, which is totally understandable. Just a suggestion for future games. :-) KEEP IT UP!!
Thank you for feedback :) The game was made only in 6 weeks as part of my university module, so I realise there is still a lot to work on... I am currently thinking how tomake it more clear without revealing too much as well, which is not that easy...the problem with teleport is that you need to go to the tomb after you collect enough dragonflies, which was written on the wall near teleport :) and the "new area" is basically second level I have just started to build.. :) thanks for playing and I will keep your feedback in mind for future implementations ^^
Lots of bugs with character movement. The player character often has trouble getting to the mark that you point him to and sometimes seems to walk in circles around the mark. This is especially a problem at the store. The skeleton king also has some problems; sometimes the army he summons gathers around him and completely blocks him from moving. This is a major problem with this game.
SO I've notice I'm not the nay one with this problem: how do you steal an enemy transport? How does this work?
It's a very handy and I've managed to do it several times completely by accident. Is it random? Does it only work under certain circumstances? Is there a button I'm pushing? Please explain it to me.
