I appreciate the abundance of visual gimmicks and arguably passable art, but this game simply fails in terms of game design. Like many noob games, traps and enemies don't knock you back as in most games, but instead deal you damage until you realize what that little bar is and leave, and there is no real motivation, since the powerups are arbitrarily placed and the enemies are unavoidable. 2/5 for trying.
Not pong. Pong's difficulty lied in the fact that your paddle speed was fixed. With the ability to move as fast as your mouse, it's an easy enough task to simply follow the ball. And, of course, there's no scoring and the ball doesn't come back.
Really good for a first game! I don't know action script, so I'm not sure how you'd do this, but improve hit-detection, and add a short period after being hurt where you are invulnerable, and your character is blinking, because we, as gamers, have come to recognize this as the universal symbol for "You got hurt".
