Not a terrible game in and of itself, though the new Kong window bug is pretty inexplicable from what I can tell. Really not sure how that one got through testing. The workaround is pretty easy, though, either never release the mouse or turn on the autofire option. Anyhow, a decent game, though not terribly interesting or challenging. Got all three badges on the first try. 3/5
Great game. Not too hard, and a little less repetitive (I thought) than Infectionator. One or two things, at one point the game lagged a bit and my troops ended up running around inside a lake. Also, hotkeys and the ability to customize your unit/spell palette would help make gameplay smoother. 4/5 overall, keep it up!
Firstly, a couple bugs I found. Seemed like when my character is attacked by an enemy to the side or behind and suddenly can't move forward anymore, even if the forward square is empty. Also, sometimes the character stops attacking and won't attack anymore until I move him. Not sure what causes this. As for gameplay, overall I liked it, but a few things I would change. Being able to see things (character, enemies, etc) behind obstacles would be a big help. I didn't have as big a problem with the controls as some of the other comments, maybe because one of my favorite games as a kid used zone transitions in a very similar way (Super Mario RPG for SNES for all you traditionalists out there). Also, I thought the ending was pretty anticlimactic. I'm rating it 4/5 on account of the bugs, but a great effort. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next.
I understand that MMO games need people to buy stuff to make money, but this game is ridiculously unbalanced. If I spend more than five minutes out of protected zones some big ship comes by and kills me. You have design your advantages for paying players in a way that people who don't pay can still play the game. As is, it's terrible. There has to be some way of preventing this kind of abuse from happening. My advice: don't waste your time on this one.
Honestly, this game has a lot of potential, but it's so buggy and the severs are so unstable (I've played a lot of these MMO games and NEVER seen one which spent anywhere NEAR as much time down as this one does) that it really ruins a lot of it for me. Very disappointed.
Good game, though a bit simplistic. That is part of it's appeal, but I would like to see it take longer and there be more enemy types. After 2-3 days it all gets to be the same. 4/5
I had fun with this game, but after a few rounds the gameplay just got really easy. This is countered some by the number of achievements and the difficulty in getting some of them, but I would have liked to see the game itself be more challenging.
I really liked it. Rating it 4/5 because I didn't find these missions to be terribly difficult, but a good play all the same. Now going to go play the sequel!
Good game, but some bad bugs that should have been caught. I bought a lot of max potions (40+) and it bugged out and would reset from 40 to 2, then after i use those it goes back to saying 40 for the next battle, and won't let me use any at all. Also, sometimes enemies die but they don't appear to fall. Good game, but should have tested it more, so I can't rate it high.
