It would be nice to be told that a party member can't have more than one weapon. It's a little frustrating to accidentally replace a decent weapon with a rubbish one and not have any way of switching it back. Also, the music toggle doesn't seem to work... But I love the game! It just needs more of everything.
I'm not normally a fan of games that require speed to survive. However, I think in this case I can make an exception. The speed levels were very cleverly done, so that the only way to survive was to follow a planned path over (or around) the trigger pixels, rather than just randomly running and hoping for the best. I imagine a lot of thought and testing has gone into this game, and it has paid off superbly.
Given that there's no way to grind up, would it be possible to add a reset button for upgrades so that we can try a different combination if we get really stuck, without having to start the whole game over again? Thanks!
I think the third level (Mystic Mayhem) has a bug - instead of the Divine Pillar, when I click I just get random Scarab Powers. Not that I'm complaining, but it's weird.
I had initially rated this game 2 stars. Now that the game has been "upgraded", I have dropped my rating to 1 star - not because the game has become any worse, but because the developer clearly is not willing to make any reasonable improvements on behalf of their players. Yes, improvements have been made, but the game is still a boring grind, and the time trials are still unreasonable (as the sunshine pieces don't appear before the timer runs out). This game had potential, but now it's clear that the developer doesn't see it.
Hands down the best music game I've ever seen. What a great way to make classical music into a puzzle! I love the selection of songs, and I love how the symbols on the puzzle pieces represent the sounds in the music. Absolutely brilliant!
Is it IriySoft or Irn'Soft? I always thought it was the latter, even though the web address and game info says it's the former. So I just wanted to check - hope this isn't too silly a question!
