Hint 2: Sized boxes stacked like in the fuel cell
Hint 3: Sized boxed stacked like in the fuel cell with machine symbols.
Have a time delay before the next hint can be accessed.
( I am stuck on the level with 4 machines and an ammeter that needs 1/4 Amps. This is day 4 on this puzzle.)

First let's get you unstuck. First note that you don't need to power all of the platforms to get up to the door. You only need the first one. Secondly there is another way to arrang the power squares so you get some quarters (rather than placing them all on top of each other) - clue - one of them needs to be 3/4, the other three need to be 1/4.

Regarding hints - yes I agree i need some hints. Can you explain a little bit more your suggestion. I think HInt 1 that you mention is about having a hint on the 3rd (?) mechanical squre puzzle wall (where the square are not stacked up, but instead lie down flat) - a few people have got stuck on that. But I don't understand the HInts2 and 3 - can you explain a bit more?

Is there a way to look back at previous solutions? The videos play when the character reaches a certain spot. This means that she is being watched and there is a camera in every room. Perhaps the terminal could show all the other rooms so if one gets stuck, they can look back at a simpler puzzle.
That a good idea - there is no way to do this at the moment. I'll put it on my to do list (but I'm going to try and track down all the crash bugs people are having first).
When the "WAD" keys are used for controls do NOT use "Q" for the menu. It is too easy to bump the "Q" and loose all progress. I recommend you change it to "M" for menu.
I can not get the nerdy wordplay achievement. I tried converting the binary talk of the shapes but, it seems like there is a number missing. I'm at 99% completion.
I beat it! I like how the hands get "hurt" when they tough sharp pointy things that break hearts. Great game! 5/5! I hope to see badges and a level select soon.
