I really enjoyed the game, but it seemed kind of short to me. And it would be nice if you could be more specific about what the options at the end of the game do, I clicked on "Go Rogue" expecting to be able to continue the game.
Fun little bug, apparently the enemy sometimes summons a generic unskinned invincible body. So now I've got my whole army beating on this one guy and not entering the portal.
Not exactly Nerdook's best game, actually it's probably his worst so far. It gets overly grindy way too fast, with very few new aspects being added to the game over time. So by the time you get to level 20, it's all about repeating the same first 19 waves that you've been doing the entire game already. I think I'll just go back and play Insane AI and Dungeon Dev again.
Interesting note, egg hatching goes by your system clock. So if you put the egg in the hatchery, advance your system clock enough for the egg to hatch, you can get your new pet instantly.
Played 3 times, and each time I ran into a situation where I was unable to continue. For example, the first time I played I killed an enemy with a key too close to a wall and I was unable to reach the key even though it was in front of the wall. It's a fun game, and I hope that many of the glitches are fixed, but for now I can only rate it 3/5.
A small bug, you can actually get the Super Duper Combo achievement using Nanoswarm if you stand outside the entrance to the area with Nanoswarm and use the banana weapon so that it bounces into his area.
At first I was stunned that this game only has a ~3 rating, and then I ended up clicking on the Armorgames link in the play screen a couple of times a level. I'm fine with wanting to advertise your sponsor site. I'm even fine with having it on the gameplay screen. But please don't put it right next to somewhere next to where enemies spawn so it's easy to accidentally click on it. Then you freak out trying to close the tab to try to get back to the game before you die.
Interesting glitch I ran into. On the final store I was on day 90, and I changed my setup to have Demo Racks along the right wall, and a snake of CD Racks leading the cash register. Whenever I start the day, it will always crash the game about 5 seconds into the day.
Another bug I've run into is the cash register won't stay upgraded with I reload the game or go to another store and back again.
Very solid game. Despite it being a very cookie cutter shooter, it's still extremely fun and I kept playing until I got all of the achievements. I think that the achievements are probably most well thought out part of the game since they're not too insanely difficult, like Cell Warfare, but still provide a challenge.
My only comment is that late in the game, with every damage upgrade, I was unable to kill the Seekers faster than they spawn without green or orange power ups. I think it might balance the game a little bit more if they had slightly less hit points. Or perhaps replacing the critical upgrade with a base damage upgrade to spend skill points on.
lowlife, I got the marksmanship achievement just fine, just be meticulous about shooting. My guess as to what's happening is that have a shot in the air when you level up, and that shot misses as a result of an enemy being destroyed. As long as you don't shoot just before you level up, you won't miss a bullet that way. That's how I did it, and I got it just fine even though I leveled up several times.
A great game, coming up with a strategy to getting everything was just as fun as playing it. Though it did feel a bit broken when I ended up with 116 coins left on the 150 level. Of course that as the advantage of having only the singles left at your last 10. =D
