Yet another tip for the hard badge. Once you get to a point where you can kill the blue skulls, stop farming for experience. Instead try to go deep as you can, killing the minimal number of monsters. The goal is to get the torch on the highest floor. Assuming you got all the torches along the way, this allows you to get the sword in section 2. The game is trivial after you get that sword. Just move back and forth quickly between two floors with monsters until you hit the level max (should take less than a minute).
I see people complaining about being 1 point short of 3 stars. When I ended my second to last game at 2999 high score, that was a new kind of fury. Good thing I had infinite tried to get to 3000.
Finally got impossible badge. The hardest part is definitely the 50,000 loot trophy. I realized that if you can get up to about 30k, you can definitely get up to 50k. I did it by level 10. At that time the amount of money that you pick up by chaining kills is really fast. You won't even notice the last 20k loot.
It would be nice to have a indicator of when the last time we reset the game was. This way, we can tell at what rate we are earning angel investors and whether or not we should reset now or wait a bit for the next achievement milestone.
For those of you who are perfectionists and want every piece of clothing. The last boss spawns random enemies from every level and they drop their respective clothing. Don't make the mistake I did and try to get all the clothing on the first play through.
The last few levels are extremely easy if you just go high as soon as you spawn. You can jump over the majority of the obstacles using invisible platforms.
Can Kong please do something about these hacked high scores? It is absolutely ridiculous. Of course the comment system is horrible as well, so no one will see this comment unless it randomly gets upvoted and I won't know if anybody replies no matter what.
A lot of people are complaining about the amount of speed loss from hitting the ground and I agree that it is too much. But, the simple solution to this is to simply hit the ground as few times as possible. I found that the best way to do this is to stack creep magnet and rebound. That way you're in the air for a very long time. Also, hitting creeps refills your hit and ultimate bars, which you can now save to get the geek off the ground. Now, it is annoying that there is no altitude meter to help you time those hell raisers, so I found it advantages when I got a few levels to use a few hits on meteor strikes, hoping to hit more creeps. This will decrease the geeks falling speed and allow you more time to react when he gets close to the ground.
If you go directly to the right as soon as you drop, you will eventually reach a wall with total darkness to the right of it. You can force your submarine up and over the top of the wall. You are now inside the rock and can go as deep as your gas tank will allow with no fish to bother you. However, fireballs will still go through the wall and you get gold this way. Still, you can make it to 4k depth with zero effort.
Yes, absolutely! We've got this fixed already, and we'll push it in the next update (hopefully tomorrow).
